Wow-this is so cool! I haven't seen this cartoon/movie since I was probably 10 years old (30 years ago!) We had HBO before anyone else in the neighborhood (1977) and I saw so many cool things as a kid...this WAS trippy for me as a kid (still is a little bit) and it DOES sound like some Pink Floyd or maybe a little Tangerine Dream.

@anniehallrules unfortunately i can't find any melodies of this composer (IMDb says "Takashi Mitsuki"), but I was suprised when I realised that song (when beans were growing) was sang by one person Linda Yamamoto (it calls kisekinouta) I always thought it's two voices here - male and female! fantastic!
