Once you watch this movie you'll find the similarities it has to kick ass are extremely shallow. The level of plot and message in this movie blind sided me. I came in expected what I got from Kick - Ass, a raw action movie but ended up feeling inspired by what the movie teaches to it's watchers. Must see.

I love this movie so much, it's hilarious through a good portion of it but it still maintains a certain maturity with the subject matter. All Frank wanted was justice, and he took matters into his own hands, he was awkward at first but became an uber-badass at the end enraged by the death of boltie, and to be honest, watching Jock get fucked up made me happy inside. It was an amazing movie.

This movie is awesome. Anyone that doesn't think so just doesn't get it. Give it a chance. It is way better than Kick Ass or Defendor. This is quickly becoming one of my all time favorites. You just have to tunderstand while watching it that it is a dark comedy. It is making fun of the things that on the surface it appears to be glorifying. It is over the top on violence because it is poking fun at violent movies. James Gunn and Rainn Wilson are both geniouses.

I love both Kick-ass and this movie. I think this hits more people with realism than Kick-ass because, "Big Daddy" was pretty much a super cop, and trained his daughter, though "Kick-ass" was a regular old kid like other people. And him and "The Crimson Bolt" were really both ordinary people, but at least "TCB" was smarter with his fighting.
