People who are dying who inhale to cure themselves, even as the study suggests 3 years is a long time vs 3 months or so. Concentrated cannabinoids into the bloodstream is what is needed to cure, not inhaling some cannabinoids... but eating them and allowing your body the best chance. It works.

Hemp oil to be specific... and let me tell you from experience that nothing could get you higher than a mega dose of hemp oil to be sure. While marijuana smoke contains chemicals that would normally be harmful when burned and inhaled, actual studies and research show that smoking the cannabinoids (the medicine) actually provides an anti-cancer effect.

They make a product that kills weeds, and then they modify our foods so that their poisons are resistant to them, then they coat the plants in poison and make margarine out of it. It is illegal in Canada to produce natural organic margarines from what I understand. Sometimes harsh is all people will listen to... I understand that.

@chrychek - you cant get high from RAW pot. To make oil you have to heat the cannabis HENCE NOT RAW ANYMORE. You have to apply heat to pot to get high. I have been around people for 25 + years that have smoke pot. Since THC is fat-soluble, the marijuana must first be cooked in a fatty substance such as butter or oil. That is why people make pot brownies.They cook the marijuana in butter, and then use the THC-saturated butter to make the brownies or cookies.

Thanks to marijuana I was able to get off methadone (I broke my back) to a less hazardous pain killing regime. In addition, while I was on methadone the marijuana helped keep down the nausea (it was very bad), I've also had less panic attacks while on marijuana.

I am glad there are people partaking in legitimate research into this plant. The sooner they make it legal the better off we will all be.

Yeah, it takes about 4 hours to make properly-made high quality hemp oil, provided you have high quality starting material (buds, not just leaves and stems). Two years is a joke. You can make your own cure for cancer and a ton of other illnesses in less time than it takes to cook a turkey dinner from scratch.

@vaticanantichrist Unheated cannabis passes though the intestine largely undigested.Making a tea out of it or baking it in a "brownie" or some other based food releases far more of the phytochemicals and THC.Of course carbonizing anything is a recipe for cancer(even BBQed vs Baked meats).I wish raw cannabis had the same benefits as heated cannabis but for the most part it doesn't. @Hezett Unfortunately, you neglected to consider the IMPORTANT FACTS which go into drug production and the approvals process.

If a drug is patentable, there are vast potential profits available, and that means government kickbacks, payoffs, and billions in taxes.

If a drug is not patentable, the profit margins have to be kept reasonable, of people will simply go elsewhere, as the supply will not be limited for however many decades a patent is in force.

No kickbacks, no profits, no approval.

@krypekeeper they are not studying how to get high, they are studying the hundreds of various compounds. THC is extracted this way, but to involve CBD and other factors, it takes much more than just THC. This is why THC pills and sprays are generally not as effective (not even close) to inhaled/vaporized mj, since it includes all of the various compounds. It is true you don't necessarily need complicated procedures (you need pot and a vaporizor, essentially. indica strain, high cbd content.)
