  • im soo fucking stupid i have no idea wht im doing???!!!!

    nice vid!

  • thankyou man

  • Loudest mouse in the world.

  • @Shujinko90 It was Hypercam's click option... my mouse isn't that loud. xD Virtualdub can be used for screencapture too.

  • what is the worst case sonario (sorry for bad spelling) if i overclock my CPU too much?

  • very nice tutorial, easy to understand and very thurough, I was just about to choose a random pll on clockgen and start overclocking, good thing I watched this video first =) thanks

  • finally i got one video showing how to use clockgen Setup :) thanks 5/5

  • what if i overclock by a litle bit, like only like about 1.70 to 1.71?

  • Small overclocks under 10% will not prove noticeable results in performance. The heat increase should not be more than 10-15 C at most with decent cooling, and with a good cooler you might as well be running it OC'd completely if it's around room temp. If I OC one aspect slightly on my card it doesn't prove much, but if I combine all the clocks then it happens to. I should get a new card or a new fan though... Same for CPU and fan. Theoretically GPU and CPUs last forever at room temp or less. ;)

  • You have to consider whether hot air is settling in the case and warming other components too, the motherboard chipset heatsink can get very hot with some CPUs and some cooling solutions (especially air cooling that sucks air in and distributes it along the bottom of the fins), and that can ruin your motherboard quick if its beyond thermal specs.

  • Yeah, I see, my voice is kind of annoying in these videos, it even bothers me.

Well I think it's time to redo some of these but make them shorter and more exact to the point. xD

  • Dude what happens if u overclock the cpu without increasing the voltages?

  • You can typically reach between a 15-50%+ overclock but without more voltage it becomes less stable because it needs more current to keep up.

You should really be increasing the current, it doesn't need much more voltage, so by increasing the voltage slightly you can reach overclocks never before possible. The problem is that you can instantly fry the chip without warning if you overvolt and overclock too far. To be safe you should measure the tolerances (lowest and highest voltage usages)

  • To warn you though, overvolting causes a quadratic increase in heat while overclocking only causes a linear increase. If overclocking your CPU raises the temps about 5C, overvolting AND overclocking can raise the temps up to 20C. This is why it's important to have good cooling before you attempt to overvolt, and you can also increase voltages on video cards by taking a graphite pencil and running the tip over certain transistors and the voltage controller. Digital voltage monitor - tolerances.

  • my ati card is aparently "UNSUPPORTED" for overclocking with ati tool gay.

  • so ur mean that the ati overclocking not working for you?

  • basically when i try to change the clock it syays this card is not supported.

  • well mine is not even workin on me..when i open ati overclocking it said ait overclocking stopped working..i hate it...lol

  • XD SAME FOR ME AT FIRST you got vista dont you?

  • yeah i have vista..i think its noting working on my motherboard or something..

  • There are programs that probably work on Vista, try google.

  • well i changed my MB with an nvdia i think 570 board idk the exact model but i had the same prob so its either the program or my graphics card. my original board was an intel board.

  • idk my MB is..lol but anyways i think its my MB..idk

  • okay im going to try it. ill let you know how it goes :D

  • nice vid, i found it to be more helpful then most. im still a litlle worried about clocking because everyone has different computers, so we dont realy know for sure what to clock to.

  • Different hardware uses different clock timings, and even 2 chips which are almost exactly physically the same . This is why I stress to clock upwards in small increments and test thoroughly to have safe, stable overclocks. I'm not responsible for anyone's damage(s) caused by overclocking. This may void your companies warranty, it is best if you check you warranty or check their website to see what they think about overclocking before you proceed.

  • y dos my clock gen only show 2 opthions clocks and options,it dosnt show that other stuff?plz help

  • fry out ur shit.. lol.. thanks for the help dude

  • your welcome, this works perfectly.

  • i have a 9800 gx2, but i dont know exactly from wich producer (EVGA, inno3D n stff) so will evga presiscion still work on it?

  • It should, if not then there is always ATiTool and Rivatuner.

  • my cpu can be upped by 30% to 3,9!

i want yer graphics card, but i have a laptop...

  • Well there are mobile graphics card (The mobile version of mine is 8600M GT)

Get a good one though, check tigerdirect . com

  • prim bastard

  • The hell does that mean?

  • ughhh prim= a person who is uptight witha asscrack so tight no effin farts can get through

  • ARR016a, SPAM...

  • stop clicking randomly geez

  • lol sorry about that

  • lol srsly?

  • and the CPU multiplier isn't 160, it's like 260

  • If you throttle then disable speedstep and CE1. If you corrupted your windows the PCI-E must have not been set too 100mhz.

  • I see, well I'm just going to OC my CPU from the bios, a lot safer. Intel Pentium 4 3.2 ghz with HT OC'd to 4.01 Ghz, very stable, If I go any higher I get BSOD's occasionally.

  • Good video for those who do not know this 5/5
