Nice bit of directing by Verhoven, showing Robocop's eyes blinking and looking in concern at ED-209. Helps to reinforce that there's still a human under all the armor and titanium. Which is of course important from a narrative standpoint from this scene on.

Ahh, ED-209 has learned the valuable lesson the hard way that your gun doesn't have to be 3" away from your target to work. I guess Robo has had it with getting shot in the face.

Also, I would have loved to have seen 209 vs. RoboCain. Since his weapons would have worked against Cain's armor. After Cain lost his mini-cobra gun, 2-3 Ed 209s could have gunned him down.

until 4 hours for this fight scene back in the

80's. Is not the same a in Sinbad vs the skeleton.

@JReed1985 It's a great luck that the building has an elevator for that kind of robots. They can easely move from the ground floor to Dick Jones' office and back. But if Dick Jones decides to place his robot on a roof of a different building that doesn't have such a great elevator or somewhere else (it's a military robot as I'm concerned)? ))) It's a really dissapointing fault !)))
