Actually, they do know that the Mayans were geniuses when it came to astronomy and calculations. On Dec. 12, 2012, they DID predict our sun aligning itself with the Galactic Central Point. Of course, whether or not that really means anything is up for debate.

Roland Emmerich is the most over rated directer in Hollywood! He's so play-it-safe, and is not daring or creative at all. He just gets so much hype because of the huge budget contracts he keeps getting and that's only because he's Hollywood's little pet director that they just love because he's so good at throwing in so much insulting political correct propaganda that Hollywood lives for these days

Michael Bay is a much more talented big budget, action director, but not PC enough for Hollywood!

As for Transformers, it was crap and certainly not one of Bay's better movies, but you can only do so much with a crap script and it was a masterpiece compared to Godzilla!

Roland Emmerich, easily the most over-rated director today! He does nothing innovative & is very play-it-safe! Give any director the massive budgets he gets and most will do as well or better. The worst thing about him is how discustingly racially politically correct his movies are. There always putting down white people & making non-whites look wonderful, and does this both bluntly and sneakily!
