  • Thank you! ;)

  • Vill ha den här i mp3. Någon som har?

  • @Klimpoz jeg også!!!

  • Mio min mio is swedish! They talk english but it's dubbed into swedish! Donno why they did so in the first place?!

  • @VonRix Original language is english. You can tell because Christian Bale, who doesn't speak swedish, plays the role of Jum Jum. Also, you can see by the unsynced lip movement

  • love this tune... childhood memories :)

  • The whole soundtrack can be found on my channel, included this one, called "The Shepherd's Flute", which is on track # 7, 13 and 20. Track # 20 is called "The Reunion" though, but has some of "The Shepherd's Flute" in it. ;)

  • @MariachiPunoy

    Jag håller med :(

  • i think the song is called HERDENS FLÖJT

  • i thin the songis called HERDENS FLÖJT

  • I always loved this tune :) However, I still miss the flute from the old audio tape I heard when I was little. I think that one might have been from before the movie. I can't find it , but this is still nice anyway :)

  • Wow, for years I was looking for that song :-))) Had no idea to look on you tube :-P

  • Does anyone know the guitar-tab to this song? I've played around a little on and come up with: on the B-string (second highest) 9 7h9p7 5 2 5 9 12 9 12 9 7h9p7 5 2 5 9 14 914 10.... But then im stuck...

  • Any one have the original tune in mp3?

  • @Klimpoz i have

  • @Klimpoz you kan add unikakarlsson @ live se at messenger =)

  • @AndreasBackmanK Du råkar inte vara svensk?

  • @AndreasBackmanK

    m.v.h.

  • @ClickClickBooom english. check imdb if you want.

  • what was the original language of the movie? english or russian? did christian bale spoke russian?

  • @ClickClickBooom

Suppose it was swedish. the movie is basically swedish. English, russian and other languages are product of dubbing.

  • The movie was made in English, and was dubbed to Swedish, Russian and German - maybe even other languages. But I have the original movie (in English), called "Mio in the Land of Faraway". ;)

  • @VonRix

Actually the book is written in swedish, the was film made in english originally then dubbed to other languages. don't know why they would do that. But that's how it is. The film however is shot in sweden and russia.

  • @VonRix The original movie was made in england, in english then it was dubbed in swedish

  • @VonRix Um no the original was english its dubbed to all other languages. However the book is originally swedish. The original english title is "Mio in the land of faraway"

  • @VonRix There is significant number of russian actors too(check imdb), so I think they might just speak whatever language they do speak, and then dub it into others, even into swedish, or may be they used english as Lingua Franca.

  • @VonRix

The book is written by Astrid Lindgren, Swedish author. The movie is american but dubbed to swedish. Lindgren is the best! I'm norwegian by the way.

  • @VonRix Not true. The original language it was filmed in was English and they dubbed it to Swedish. Max Winderrdal dubbed Jum-Jum to Swedish and so did Pontus Lantz who dubbed Mio.

Nick Pickard played Mio and Christian Bale played Jum-Jum

  • @ ClickClickBooom

The book is written by a swedish author, but the film was made in English.

  • Isn't the movie swedish too? I always tought it was when I watched it as a kid.

  • No it's made in English and then dubbed into Swedish. I don't know why though

  • @ClickClickBooom it was an english film, but made from a german book

  • @Melitonboots - nope, from a Swedish book. Astrid Lindgren was from Sweden. :)

  • @ClickClickBooom

The original movie is in swedish, the author is Astrid Lindgren :)

  • @ClickClickBooom it is English

  • @ClickClickBooom - I know the book is originally Swedish, by late Astrid Lindgren, but the original movie was recorded in English, and then dubbed to Swedish, Russian, German (etc). Among many of the talented performers in this movie was Nick Pickard (Hollyoaks), Christian Bale (Empire of the Sun) and Christopher Lee (Lord of the Rings).

  • @ClickClickBooom org is rely swidis

  • @ClickClickBooom it was english, altought the movie is based on the swedish book wrote by astrid lindgren in 1957 ;)

  • Glad to hear it. I knew I wasn't the only one :)

  • This tune is spellbounding. I wish someone could make a cover of it or somehow use the tune without the movie sounds.

  • Do you know where I can download this song?!

    I really´love it!

  • Lovely melody =)

  • åh, jag älskar melodin ! <3
