  • You can qualify for more jobs once you have a high school equivalency credential (After passing the GED Tests) so that should make it easier!

  • I hope it will be easier to get a job if you get a GED in Florida, idk too much about this state.

  • so the diploma some states give out is pretty much pointless if they have to use the GED transcripts to get a job? im a highschool drop out and i dont need a GED i need a highschool diploma is there anything i can even do?

  • @crusader1614 This depends on the state. All states give out a diploma of some sort (different names in diff states) but this credential awarded because you passed the GED Tests is considered equivalent to a HS diploma by 98% colleges and about 96% employers. Basically, the GED Test is the best, most recognized option for finishing HS in the U.S.

  • Err. This really isn't a question related to Taking the GED in particular, but rather, getting the results.

I took my test on, April 7th of this year. It is now June 15th, and I still have not received them. I fear they may be in the undeliverable box.

    Who should I call?

  • @GangstaLink You should contact the testing center where you took the test to ask about transcripts.

  • can i skip parts of the test if i have those high school credits?

i passed all my math and science and i really dont want to retake them

  • @xXAidenxGoesxrawRxX You have to pass all the parts of the GED Test in order to earn a GED credential. Unfortunately, you can't combine high school credits with GED Test scores.
