Snowed in by only 4" of snow! Canada and USA get some of the worst snowstorms in early April. Apr. 7, 2003 About 240,000 residents of Detroit etc. face more days w/o electricity due to an icestorm that hit Thurs. and Fri. causing 2 deaths. New storm is expected today and could bring up to 7" (4.9" fell) more snow and misery. We also get snow in May and I have seen it flurry in June. April 24-26, 2005 storm in SE Michigan -up to 16" of snow, if all of it stuck would be nearly 30" of snow
The north atlantic drift gives England its more temperate climate, global warming is slowing down it down, reducing the temperature of our climate. Climate change wont necessarily mean an increase in temperature. Your arse does not have a lot to do with it. I just thought I would clear that one up.

Snow in April wasn't that unusual when I was young (70s and 80s). About 12 inches fell on my birthday on April 26th 1979!!

It snowed numerous times in April. In April 1989 we got snowed in by 4 inches of on the 5th.
Absolute rubbish about the NAD slowing, it snowed (didnt settle) during the opening of June 1975, and bitterely cold too.
