I made plenty of mistakes! :-) I studied for 2 years in the US, then spent 1 year in China (Beijing and Haerbin).

well, actually his speech wasn't that basic, on the contrary, he uses a few typical colloquial chinese slangs even with some degree of local accent as well as many quot and idioms. over 99% of his pronunciation is standard.

But i suppose you can do better as well, as long as you are interested in it and make effort on it. :) good luck.

Oh, yeah? How long have you been taken it? YOu seem to have talents in learning language. :)

But accent is not an easy thing. I have been working pretty hard on my english pronunciation and accent. There is still a long way for me to go.

don't try to speak with a chinese accent it sounds very phony, just speak normally, and your grammar isn't too bad, just work on the pronunciation and we wont be forced to politely pretend your chinese is perfect
