This is one of my all time favorite disney movies i transferred my old vhs to dvd good thing since it doesn't look like Disney has any plans to release it on dvd hopefully soon.
Does anyone know if that rare "50 Years" logo was included on Robin Hood's first release? Because it came to theaters in the same year as "Charley and the Angel" did.
I saw this movie when I was a kid at the Victory Drive-In in North Hollywood, California back in 1973. I do remember that logo being present on Disney films for that year.
Some of you may disagree, but I think that the Buena Vista Distribution card looks a little bit bland compared to the 1985-post logos. Back at the time this movie came out, they should've used the castle from the Wonderful World of Color as a logo and the jingle they used here for the Happy 50 Years promo as the fanfare.
WHOA! Charley and the Angel! I loved this movie as a kid! EXTREMELY hard to find! Unless you had the Disney Channel back in the 80s-90s! Wish they'd bring this classic gem out on DVD even as a Disney Video Club Exclusive title! Fred MacMurray's final Disney film.
I noticed George O'Hanlon's name in the cast credits. He was the original voice of George Jetson!

If this was a TV showing, but not a network TV showing, I would think then it might be the (old school) Disney Channel.

@videos4everybody I also wonder if they used this on "Cinderella" and "Mary Poppins", both of which were reissued in 1973.

Was this logo on the original release of "Robin Hood"?
