  • Viva Canada! No shit? I've heard too many other Canadians that were really arrogant, but theses I like.

  • wow the lady that talks is really bad looking. just bad looking lady. sorry to say it.

  • lmao at 0:51 !!!!!!!!!1

  • i find it sad that i am more aware of whats happening to our country than most adults. i guess with all the stuff they have to do daily they can't take the time to find someone who can help and save us, actually change things, not just coin the term. oh well, if dr. paul runs again he has my vote and il be able to spread his message to a wider auidence when i get to college :)

  • THe problem with the constitution is it is too centralizing. IT gives too much power to the federal government. Under the articles of confederation congess couldnt tax. there was no president and on most issues the congress could not excercise power without 2/3 of the STATES. Can you imagine if no war could be declared without 2/3 of states? I'm a fan of the bill of rights but thats all. Powers need to be divided among the Congress, the people and the STATES.

  • I don't think it does. You know what the constitution says about education? Nothing at all. It was always intended for the states to decide. Yet congress ignored this and created the Department of Education, the quality of education has been going down ever since.

  • @AINTMYAMERICA Well America doesn't even need to engage wars anymore. Any wars fought at this point in time is fought only for the military-industrial complex.

  • I admire Paul very much, and have done so for many years.

But I do wish his "newer" fans would learn some more about his views, and also about the Constitution. The Constitution isn't perfect, certainly not "divinely inspired", and sticking to it 100% won't necessarily make things better in all areas.

  • It's a question of the homogenizing intrusiveness of regulation -- of laws that lump us all together when we are clearly, magnificently different -- and it's about the skirting of the Constitution. That's the Ron Paul argument, anyway.

  • Uber lawlz!! Check out 0:49-0:51!

  • Ron Paul supporters are so much smarter than mcbama supporters.

  • eh... I am inclined to agree but "smarter" doesn't seem like the right word... "informed" is prolly a better choice.

  • Vote Bob Barr! Go Ron Paul!!!

  • Don't vote Barr, please don't do that the man is a neo-con posing as a libertarian he voted for the patriot act, the iraq war, and no child left behind.

Chuck Baldwin is way more principled, I think that's who Paul will endorse.

  • well, Bob Barr apologized for his votes and former beliefs. He said it was wrong and he is sorry. I think he sees the light now. Plus, the Libertarian Party is better organized and better funded than the Constitution Party. At least I think it is, tho that doesn't mean anything. But isn't Chuck Baldwin a religious fanatic??

  • He's a pastor but he's definitely not a religious fanatic. He's a strict constitutionalist and he believes in the separation of church and state. Like I said he's just more principaled than Barr. I'm sure Barr does believe those votes he casted were wrong but to me it shows that he doesn't exactly believe in the Libertarian ideology as a whole. He's the kind of guy that will compromise. You can't like just some parts of freedom, you know?

  • ya, I guess I know but Chuck is basically a virtually unknown. Barr has a little more clout. Anyway, Go Baldwin/Barr!

  • well, ron paul pretty religious to.

  • This mall was so slammed near the book store. The line was wrapped around the mall. People coming into the mall were very curious to why all these people had came to see Ron Paul. rEVOLution

  • Whoa. I took a picture of y'all interviewing and didn't know it was my new favorite media outlet! Good piece, good job.

  • Ron Paul book is great it short sweet and simple A Manifesto

  • Great interview - Thanks TheRealNews !

  • "When you sign in Ron pauls name on election day and he is not running to whom does your vote go to?"

It depends on the particular state. Some states count write-ins. In other states write-ins have to be pre-registered. In other states write-ins aren't accepted at all. Ron Paul supporters shouldn't bloody-mindedly just write him in without first ensuring that it will count. If it won't vote third party, like Baldwin, Barr, Nader. Dr Paul has advised such.

  • "Ron Paul cant even sign the impeachment bill"

He would if it ever made it out of the Democratic-controlled House Judiciary Committee. But Pelosi (D) and Conyers (D) have shut it down. They should be impeached, too, for betraying the trust the people bestowed upon them in November 2006.

  • Thanks for showing real supporters and not picking out the kooks in the crowd as mainstream media does.

  • Thank you, TheRealNews, for covering Ron Paul. I hope you will continue to follow this story.

  • Ron Paul is a Classical Liberal or basically what is a Libertarian. Both of which belong in the Republican Party. The Classical Liberal (Libertarian) is who puts the final stamp of approval on all legislation passed by the US Congress from the Declaration of Independence to the US Constitution.

The Classical Liberal (Libertarian) is The Master of the keys to the lock on Liberty. No one is allowed to get in or out with out their final stamp of approval. That is the way that it's suppose to work!

  • ron paul. the real conservative.

  • I love all these "what can government do for me" people with their social security and unions. It doesn't matter if Adolf Hitler is in power as long as the government gives them something. Well, under a corrupt government what you have will be devalued and stolen. Personally, I rather be a beggar with a constitutional rights than a employed union worker in a Benthamite prison society.

At least Ron Paul is fighting for the value of our dollar...something which we all should value.

  • What a shame the Republicans could not support this Man . He was their last hope to retake the republican party from what it has become in the last 20 years. The extreme religious fanatics run it now.

  • "What a shame the Republicans could not support this Man . He was their last hope to retake the republican party from what it has become in the last 20 years. The extreme religious fanatics run it now."

Oh Mark you know Ron Paul would kill their azzez. I mean look at the debates, punk azz Mccain and b#%$% azz Romney kept laughing at him as though he was a joke. However I know deep down inside they were like this person is too damn smart and I hope he leaves quickly.

  • a wise man once told me- "the united states will never fall on the hands of outside forces. it can only fall by decaying from within." i wish the neocons would take note of this, then they wouldnt worry about the terrorists and they'd focus more on their country

  • USA=ROME.

  • The revolution will not be televised, will not be televised,

will not be televised, will not be televised.

    The revolution will be no re-run brothers;

    The revolution will be live.

  • There is MORE than two candidates. Vote third party! Republicans and Democrats are the same shit. Most Ron Paul supporters (I know) are voting either Bob Barr or Nader.

  • i would support ron paul but his ideas on health care and education are horrible. nice international policy though.

  • "You cannot expect socialized medicine to work. And you cant expect the managed care system we have today to work because it promotes and rewards the corporations. It's the drug companies & the HMOs & even the AMA that lobbies us for this managed care, and that's why the prices are high. The most obvious way to break this cycle is to get the government out of the business of meddling in health care, which was far more affordable and accessible before government got involved."

    -Ron Paul

  • this is like christan quoting the bible. enforcing bullshit with bullshit that they claim to be the truth

  • TRUTH!!!!

  • It is refreshing to see political supporters who are informed about their candidates positions and the issues.

  • I'll second that, Is.

  • "There is nothing more terrifying than ignorance in action."

    Goethe

-engraved on a plaque at the Naval War College

If your leaders aren't going to follow the US constitution, you are going to loose your country. Just look at the Federal Reserve, its a total rip off for the common man, how can you save any "value", when the US gov. is printing the Federal Note into 0 value. That's one issue, Ron Paul is the ONLY one even talking about money.

  • 'None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.'

    Goethe

+ Read Ludwig von Mises - 'socialism' and some Murray Rothbard.

  • "Remember that the founding fathers were slave owning rich white men who hated democracy (just read most of their writings).

I mean I hate McCain and Obama too but Paul is a real reactionary nut."

Yeah that's the same thing they said about NOAH before it rained 40 days and 40 nights and everybody drowned. People better wake up and really see what's going on.

  • "In England, at this day, if elections were open to all classes of people, the property of landed proprietors would be insecure. An agrarian law would soon take place...Landholders ought to have a share in the government, to support these invaluable interests and to balance and check the other. They ought to be so constituted as to protect the minority of the opulent against the majority."

    -James Madison

One example of how the founding fathers hated democracy. If Paul is like them then f him.

  • actually, ron paul is more pro-worker than any of the douche bags that were running for president. i guess you support the neo-Con and Democrat way of doing things...you know, that way our jobs continue to get shipped overseas instead. ron paul is one of the few that are fighting FOR the American worker!

and if you think abiding by the Constitution, which is also referred to as the "Law of the Land", makes somebody a nut, you're living in the wrong fucking country!

  • If Paul was so "pro-worker", then why did he pass picket lines before??? That's huge disrespect. It's like a big "f-u" to all unions.

Second, how the fuck do I support the neo-con and Democrat way of doing things sinces I said I hate McCain and Obama AS WELL????

And the constitution was written by salve owning democracy hating white men and it's the people's movements that grant the freedoms we may have, NOT that piece of paper. Free speech wasn't even won till the 1950's.

  • first, i'm not sure if you're aware of this but NO conservative or libertarian is pro-union. unions are like anything else...they have pros and cons. i worked for Local 1500 when i was in high school and that union did alot to protect shitty workers who deserved to be fired. yes, they protect workers but they're also a financial burden on businesses...just another reason jobs are going overseas.

2nd, just b/c u oppose McCain and Obama doesn't mean you dont support another neo-Con or Democrat

  • i know the way unions work. i'm a payroll accountant for the painters union, carpenters union, and tile layers union. in order for a business to use union members, they have to pay them an amount that is already established in the union contract. so a company pays the employee money and pays taxes for their work, has to pay for fringe benefits through remittances, they usually pay into some kind of training program on top of that, and pay auditors to make sure employee is getting $ deserved.

  • Some like Jefferson actually wanted to give the people more power. Those like Hamilton and Adams didn't. Democracy really is only bad when economic and social liberties are violated by the majority.

  • Actually Ron Paul is far better than the Founding Fathers. They were wrong on so many things where Paul is not. The founders didn't understand Austrian economics either, though many did recognize the evil of central banking.

  • I suppose if we need to stand up to our own gov, then maybe, but do you really want to fight another civil war.

  • No one is going to like this but it is true: The Founding Fathers were a bunch of rich white slave-owning males who did not want to pay their taxes. I am all for the contitution and adherring to its principles but it took a long time to give women/black people the vote. We have yet to give women equal rights and for the life of me, Americans don't need to own and have access to WMD's. Yes, hunting Guns, maybe a pistol but do we need assault rifles, machine guns and rocket launchers?

  • Hmm well Adams never owned slaves, Paine never owned slaves, and Franklin later stopped owning slaves and called it evil. Taxes are a form of government coercion to take citizens money to pay for programs the government wants. Guns are useful for revolution or to protect against thieves.

  • Mind - I don't wanna pay anymore than necessary for us to have safe streets, a good educational system and a means to pay for necessary welfare programs. And below, I acknowledge that we might need our weapons to stop internment camps. What I am saying is this nation is full of bullshit. You and I are slaves right now. It's scarey and if Dennis would run with Ron Paul - maybe we'd have something - but McCain is insane and Obama - gave in to FISA - I'll go with Obama and then protest when needed

  • Hmm well why don't we allow those who support those actions pay for them? Why should I have to pay the government and then they decide where my funds go? Once the government gets to decide then there is no way to stop funding a cause or program you don't believe in. Btw, just to let you know I am not one of those that screams they are going to put in lots of people in Fema camps. Guns are needed mainly because police cannot usually get to the crime scene right away.

  • put people

  • I disagree, the constitution was put forth because there were not enough taxation. The revolution brought forth too much democracy and over protected the debtors. Therefore a rule of law was enacted to take away much of the power from the people to the federal gov't and creditors.

  • HUH?

  • The US government has more WMD than anyone. That should be seen as the biggest threat, not some guy with an M-16 or an AK. Governments kill. Take weapons away from the government officials.

  • @johnpdd Nah the WMDs sit in their silos. The REAL WMD is the AK47.

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • Ron Paul presidential one day I hope

  • Thanks for upping this!
