@Gaven8 infantry riding on the sides is useful in large maps since vehicles can often out run their infantry support. Also in some very large maps its a good idea to call in tank crew to ride the side of your tanks so that you do not have to wait long periods of time for tank crewmen to walk from their spawn point.
i remember once, we were onthis game, and we were the Ivans... we were on an 8v8 game, nd we all saved up and bout 1 JS-3 each, apart from me ( i bought an JS-2) we attack them on the flank, and we destroy t tigers 1 panther and a flak panzer..................AND THT WAS ALL!! they had 5 king tigers, so , the battle was over before it began. they also had Jagdtigers, so : /
When auto aiming is turned on, the direct control mode automatically places your cursor on the nearest target..Seems like it defeats the purpose of having "direct control" mode..
But i believe it is there so people can focus on moving the unit and still be able to fire accurately...Well that's my understanding
Personally, i never use it - Doubt many do...
Oh by the way, great vids :) Keeps me planning/strategising even while at work

I have a question. How is the auto aiming working in direct fire mode ?
horialita 2 years ago
I honestly have no idea. Shift + A apparently turns it on and off but I have no idea how it works.
