What the hell?? I was a driver for 27 years and I always put my chains on in weather like this and I could go anywhere no matter how deep the snow got and i never got stuck once!!
Cloneboy.............exactly. I made up some concrete blocks and put them in all of my pachage cars. I didn`t work for UPS, but a residential delivery company similar. We used P-30 chassis stepvans and with the load off the drives, they sucked ass in snow.....lol....Shovel, couple bags of oil dry and 400 lbs behind the drivers, you can go about anywhere....OH, don`t forget good rubber.

This is why i always carry a shovel during peak... the back end is too light to get traction unless you have a full load. Poor guy
