This guy sucks.. Well compared to the mega-superstars of the league. I mean he's a good scorer and shooter. But he's not a good defender, and very inconsistent. Certainly isn't the player to build your team around. And plays horrible in the playoffs.

He's the face of their franchise and is one of the best in the league in a few areas: he can play with the best on the outside and especially posting up other undersized guards and small forwards. One word: Overpaid. I mean he's good but not great. For a guy who plays 38-40 mins per game and has the ball on his hands 70% of the time and average 21ppg 5 apg 4 rpg, I don't think he deserves the 120 million deal. Especially after his horrible performance in the playoffs last season against the Magic. What were the Hawks thinking? One thing for sure, they'll regret this decision, and probably has regretted it.

He's the face of their franchise and is one of the best in the league in a few areas: he can play with the best on the outside and especially posting up other undersized guards and small forwards. He also serves as a sort of "glue" for the Hawks as well as being their superstar. What's not to like?

but this is about being all-stars, Iverson didn't put up all-star numbers in the games he played after coming back, He averaged less then like 12 PPG or 17 PPG in his games back and joe averaged way better numbers then iverson. I understand Iverson's an icon, but he didn't look like an all-star after coming back. Just cause you were one of the best at one point doesn't mean you still have it, but no hate to Iverson, just don't think he deserved to be all-star starter.
