Hmmm... not sure if that's true. QR code specification allows for background discrimination, and that includes partial codes. Also the image taken about 35 seconds into fyzle's vid shows a successful read from a code with a big chunk of the next code also in the frame. Errm.. Use your eyes mate?

I just got a barcode from Amtrak to print. I'm meant to bring it to the station, put it under a scanner, and it gives my ticket. My printer isn't working though. However, the Iphone displays the barcode perfectly. So the question is, can I can the barcode from the screen of the iphone instead of printing it?

Good work but you should take example on the Windows mobile barcode reader (Quickmark), it scans automatically, faster and it displays the URL with some choices like "add favorite", "save", "send by sms/mail", "view as text" (to copy/paste) and of course go to the page. You can also cancel and read other codes.

Having a choice when the code is found is very convenient, and continuous scan prevents erroneous stills.

True, that is a pretty infuriating aspect of the iphone's camera. I don't know of any camera phones that have autofocus though. TO GOOGLE!

There are URL's encoded in the barcodes. It's just reading the URL's and going to them in the browser.
