  • People from North India are as Indian as the South. The Indian peninsula was separated from rest of the world for thousands of years. Whoever resides in India is totally Indian. This Aryan and Dravidian divide was a British propaganda to divide the people of this country. Moreover there are no evidence till yet that the Aryans came from outside. Please for god sake don't fight amongst us or else another foreign invasion will be inevitable and thats what has happened from time immemorial.

    These people deserve respect.

And we should be proud that in India we have so much variety.

    Love and regards to all,

  • ahh a fool thing to say! just talk about your tamil nadu(tm). well people like you watching about tamil, so how you can say about north? uk'bollywood are now touching the cloud of the world as well as india's bollywood (i mean the both partys colbolaration).

  • wat the hell wateva said India is one country..... how can u even think of seperating the country like this saying that south india is ruling with the oscars?? then north is always ruling with a world wonder the taj mahal.... stop seperating ur country as north and south And stop talkin like this crap...

  • @dhanushag well said bro...i support you...from south hi hi hi hi...but as ONE

  • well, kavitaji was born and raised in delhi.. so she was always exposed to hindi and urdu. and hariharanji is a well-established ghazal singer, so he's always been singing in hindi and urdu.

  • @sydneyramesh

As they should. HINDI is the official language of India besides English as co in governmental affairs.

Anyone calling themselves Indian SHOULD know how to speak Hindi fluently. If they do not, it's quite shameful.

  • @rish1rish

No one has right to force ppl to new culture.. I don't know hindi. but that doesn't mean that I don't have love towards my country. Will you accept, if someone force you to change yourself to new religion/culture. say Islam.

How come, u can expect south Indians to adopt to a different culture, which they are never in need off and never used to. Hindi is made official language just for the sake of majority. Understand.

We will never speak Hindi, Yet we are proud being Indians.

  • Again, thanks for proving my point sooooo well with your ignorant comments.

I'll repeat, Hindi IS the national language. Fact. learn it. If you have a qualm bout speaking it based on you being from South India, then you really have no clue regarding concepts such as nationality and culture.

You're asking me to compare a RELIGION with a Language.

Secondly, you stupid ignorant fool, speaking HINDI does not and will not change your culture.

  • speaking Hindi does not change your culture. Here's another FACT BY THE WAY.

The reason why it's not needed, is because majority of the people in your state can speak Tamil or whatever it may be... to complete affairs. It's people like you, who come to other states where HINDI IS SPOKEN, and then you end up looking like fools.

U can go to punjab, people speak Hindi. Gujrat, no problem, Bengal, no issue.

Why is it that you South Indians have an issue with speaking Hindi??!!

  • @rish1rish because Gujaratis, Bengalis and Punjabis all speak languages Indo-Aryan Languages and thus going from one to the next can be done with great ease due to the similar grammatical structure and vocabulary; However, such languages as tamil, malayalam or kannada belong to a completely unrelated and independent language group: Dravidian.

This language group happens to be the only living one which was developed completely, without foreign influence, within India.

    Do educate yourself.

  • "Hindi is made official language for the sake of majority." Wow, ur not an imbecile completely yet. There's hope for you.

Of course it is, you fucking moron, that's the whole point. YOU TAKE THE OLDEST sub-language which is common to the majority of the people and bind them together so they speak in common tongue!!!

it's always idiots like you that have trouble grasping simple concepts like this. I guess there are more of you.. look what happened to Russia. Same thoughts as yours.

  • @rish1rish dont care to argue about the main topic of your argument, but i just wanted to let you know that hindi is in fact one of the newest languages in India. In fact, it actually only originated from the relatively recent Mughal Era.

  • @ssiyamalan

Speaking Hindi definitely does not change your culture. Are you so silly to think like that? Hindi is the national language of India, just like how German is the national language for Germany and English is the national language for the British.

When you don't have a problem learning a Foreign language like English, what's your fucking problem in learning YOUR OWN NATIONAL LANGUAGE? And what's this South Indian/North Indian nonsense. Wherever you are, You are an INDIAN.

  • @ssiyamalan

And please start seeing India as ONE COUNTRY. India is a country with a large scale of diversity in it's people. BUT, the billion dollar question is, ARE WE ALL UNITED? The answer is a simple... NO. We're split up into Hindus, Muslims, Christians, North/South Indians, Kannadigas, Malayalis, Tamils, with each group not in the least tolerant towards the other. Even among the hindus there is so much discrimination based on caste. Why can't we all be united as one?

  • @ssiyamalan

Lastly, if you're a tamilian, stop this nonsense "Vaazhga tamil" "valarga tamil"... Instead say "Vaazhga India" "Valarga India"... Start seeing yourself as an Indian first. The religion, language, caste etc comes last. If everyone thinks that way, there will never be any discrimination at all. Discrimination like these are one of the main reasons why India is still in the line of developing nations.

  • @rish1rish and yet English is also an official language in [central] governmental affairs as you stated and there has been more resistance than a push since independence to force all Indians to speak that fluently.

  • who doesn't knw sujatha...she s one of the best in India

  • im not a fan of music, but this guy is cool

  • the living legend

  • whos the third singer?
