  • can you help me converting DC 48 volts to DC 12 volts ?

  • good

  • use MOFSET instead Bipolar transistors ;)

  • @MrSomeone4321 In the actual circuit I built, i did use a MOSFET.

  • That transistor looks like it's getting really hot :(

  • podrias por favor decir cual fue el programa que utilizastes como simulador ???

could you please tell which was the program as a simulator utilizastes??

  • @ochaustre Click "Show more" to see the rest of the description, which has the link to the simulator.

  • it would be alot more efficient if you had a step up transformer with a flyback configuration and then you can get stable 50v-600v+

  • imagin that i amdoing a similar lab like this next week!

  • in ubuntu doesn't work copy & paste to export/import

  • hey man...which program is that?

    p.s(i'm trying 17 to 450 converter boost-flyback circuit)

  • @stamatopa See the description for a link to the simulator.

  • I do need 180 volts but am going to bust 120 volts to 180 volt then convert it to DC.

  • @67tr876 yah but doing it with pulse width modulation like he is doing is a wayyy more effecient way than getting the 180 volts linearly with a transformer and rectifier and caps

  • @codex653 True

  • If you want an ouput current more than 10 times the input, it's probably a better idea to go with a push-pull converter, or another topology that uses a transformer.

  • but the load is so small

  • It's not meant for a big load.
