If there was a pure Sinhalese I dont think she would make it to the top. She would be quite dusky and a bit like Ravan's sister in the Ramayana ;o). Lower caste Indians (read Dalits) would look similar to pure Sinhalese. Not being racist just being honest.

Rosie Senanayeka didnt win MIss universe...she won MIss Asia and Mrs.World!! She was the first woman to win Mrs.World. Her sister Sherine was my moms best friend at that time! I guess they dont choose the right ppl..u know SL...but Jacki is stunning she was close to becoming Miss Universe ..but i read that they dont give the title to SriLanka coz its a country that cannot support the Miss Universe Organization..i duno for sure wut they relaly meant by that but it was totally unfair!
