thx, and since i havent played the game in over 2 or 3 years i cant remember the parts. but i know for sure that you dont install level 3 transmission package, thats the only one. all others you install the packages. but its 3 certain parts in the transmission package that you install, not the whole package. btw the car is only 5 gears, dont need the 6 gears part in the third package.
AHHHH! This is how you only get 5 gears! I thought maybe you were on manual tx and just never changed to 6. I'll look at downgrading my car to package 2 and take it from there then. Thanks a lot for the tip.
Ah. Oh, I find that a bit difficult. But then again, once you are in 5th, you just stay there don't you? Are the cars faster on manual? These games normally are. If you think of anything else, do let me know please!
in my opinion yes cuz your doin the shifting if you know the right timing when to shift. and the hydrolic thing at the beginning allows for a quicker launch in sprint and circuit.
Hmm, interesting. I didn't notice the hydraulic at the start, something else I have to master. I tried a few runs on manual, but the times didn't improve so I went back to auto. I'm currently at 3:37 for three laps of outer ring with a Carolla. Still working on it.

I don't suppose you could give me any tips on how to get the car this good? I can manage 200-210MPH, no way can I get any more out of it.
What's this 'glitch' and the things you don't install then?
