I you have anti-aliasing enabled ,then disable it as there is not much need of it at higher resolutions, especially in the snow missions.You could also get a lot better fps in dx9

Ati radeon sapphire HD 4870 750/900 512MB

Coolermaster 500W Extreme power

And a pci e 2.0 gigabyte mobo and Im only getting 20 - 40 fps at 1280x1024 no AA, gamer settings

What do you think its the problem? I believe its the psu, any help?

try to reinstall the drivers... my friend has 25-30 fps (very playable) 1280x1024 enthusiast 8xaa ... he has a 550W corsair psu... and E8400.... the hd4870 has a big power consumption... if these 500W are not real... the problem could be the PSU... btw... your cpu is a quad that also has a big power consumption... i think that's the problem... upgrade it to a 650W real watts psu and i think that's enough :)

Nazdar kámo, koukni se prosimtě na jedno video. Napiš na youtube Crysis - 16XQ a dej vyhledat. Je tam jedno video, který udělal nějakej američan, to video je od Stanbonyho. On to rozjel úplně na plno. AA 16XQ, rozlišení 1680*1650 v DX10 a very high detaily! Má v kompu 3 Ultry! Fakt mu to závidim. Podívej se na to, fakt to stojí za to. Pak mi dej vědět, co si o tom myslíš, neni to nějakej podvod? Asi ne, co? Měj se.

No tak 1680*1650 není moc velký rozlišení, a s 3 ultra by to dal ale na jaký FPS, ale nwm no, když jedna 4870X2 to dává na 40-50FPS.....

Co ja vim tak 2AA s 3x8800Ultra měl 55 FPS, takze tam to s tema 16 muze mit, ale bude to skoro asi nehratelny :D:D

No hele já to na maximum dávám v pohodě do 1280x1024 4xAA........pak uz je to na prd, 4870X2 na tom je dobre, ale stejne nedokaze pri velkym rozliseni udrzet vic jak 40FPS, mno zatím PC není na to, spíš je, ale ta hra má blbou optimalizaci...Třeba ted far cry 2 grafika nadherna a valí mi to na 70FPS.....A s tema vice slotama je taky problem ze Crysis SLI A CF moc nebere....;-) :D:D

Crysis s ní šlape parádně....no ten AA je dost narocnej max 4AA v tyhle hre s touhle gafikou, pak je to nehratelny.....Ale samozrejme zalezi na celym PC a v jakym to budes hrat rozlisení...

Yes it will work, but not at full settings most likely at medium settings which is still playable. Graphics is still pretty good at those settings but at max it would most likely have a low fps

yeah in vista looks realy better and it allows you the highest graph configs (not xp, I had it) and yeah XP is whorst in lastest games (I tested it by my own), and its performance it is like an incsult in certain games in comparrison of vista (please, DO NOT take any ofense ,Xp users,it still being a great OS).
