In regards to the actual film I don't think this trailer does justice. This is a seriously important international film that I should say is about the larger N and S Korean Conflict, but I really want to say is about the simplicity of friendships that can be shared between human beings regardless of national or political backgrounds.

The movie was originally released in either late 2000 or early 2001. I would assume that's when the story is set as it seemed contemporary at the time.

Memories of Murder, The Host, and The Presiden't Last Bang were made by Joon-Ho Bong. The Vengeance trilogy and JSA are made by Chan Wook Park
