@meheh At first I was wondering why you are thanking me for my previous comment. Now I know :-) ... It really is quite an honor to hear from you. Now I am going to go and bookmark your vimeo page!
The use of saturated colors is interesting because they are correlated with memory, especially in the case of the older woman who wears bright colors in (what is implied to be) the past and gray-scale colors in the present. This is awesome because that is the way I perceive nostalgia; it usually works through the saturation of emotion and the fuzziness of particulars. Nostalgic emotions represented through vivid colors are matched graphically as well. Not to mention the wind theme. Gorgeous
the song is good but the video was really bad, i don't get everyone saying this vid is beautiful or it made you tear up or put it in 1080p, for what, oh and how is @2:31 beautiful
I'm disgusted, has anyone else noticed that now there is a sort of " Inde sound"? I mean come on bands are starting to try and fit into this "genre" just to sell. Theres an Inde section at hot topic now. Dude wtf they killed it once they tried to market it. but whatever not tryna troll, just saying.
@LesediLoFi You're a moron. Indie isn't, and never will be a genre. Indie (not inde) is short for independent, meaning bands on independent labels which covers such a wide spectrum of music it's not even funny. There's indie rap, indie rock (stuff like this), indie death metal, etc. A bunch of hipsters like you turned it into a genre. Let the music speak for itself, don't let the enormity of the band/genre speak for the music, you're cheating yourself that way.
@LesediLoFi I agree. im a big fan of what they now call "Indie" its just a very mellow, soft rock. now its all about marketing. 'being indie' i guess its a fad now. im disappointed
No, not really. It's just the drive in the tempo of the music that makes me wanna put a vehicle in motion. Doesn't really matter if it's a car, bicycle or me running. It brings the adventurer out of me. As Sweden is a country you can travel far in and see many types of nature this music would be great as an companion. If you wanted to know my feelings?
That was absolutely stunning!

video is very good, its about how this kid would like this pair of old people to be, just as happy and troubleless as him

I like what the drummer is doing. Not a very complicated beat, but very solid, and goes well with the song.

Back in the 70's, (dating myself) we called it progressive rock.
Check out the band "Rain Parade" from the 80's if you like this.

@LesediLoFi I think people just make the music they love, and when others see that there can be money in it, they market it for all it's worth.

@Leondrain: Why do you feel the need to DRIVE, when you can just walk your lazy fat ass to the Swedish country side.
BEETSEEKA 2 years ago
Maybe because the Swedish countryside he/she's talking about is scores of miles away. Hmm.
