  • Cools sounds don't count for much if you can't play...however, Joel obviously has the chops! I saw Joel perform with Jack West & Curvature at SXSW years ago, and was really, really, REALLY impressed with his playing.

  • This reminds me of the old Roland VHS tapes they used to pass out like peanuts at any clinic involving Roland instruments. Can't think of the guy's name off the top of my head, but it might as well have been the Sham-Wow guy. It is basically an advertisement; notice there isn't a single demo piece longer than a few seconds. As cool as this thing is, I wonder how many people are playing anything Lukas Ligeti wrote for himself vs. how many people play GH Green on their real xylophone.

  • This is so awesome! I MUST learn this. I think I know my next instrument on my list. Yeah....this is something I CAN do. Countdown to the order.

  • This puts a mallet kat to shame. It blow a mallet kat out of the water.

    Very cool . 2 Cool.

  • That's a fantastic instrument! Think of all of the visual effects that could be incorporated into the different mallets => different colours, the frequency, the different tones... The possibilities are endless!

  • this guy is more interesting and entertaining than lucas ligeti

  • Very nice! I LOVE my ML 2.5, especially the gamelan patch. I mostly use the pucks to lay down various drones/pedal tones and improvise with 2 mallets. 4 mallets at a time are WAY out of my league...
