Saw these guys at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo visit to Sydney last Friday. Bloody brilliant, although they had to suffer the indignity of performing on grass rather than a hard surface, which takes away that awesome precise sound they have when they perform.

I have never really managed to understand why they would put a -military- tattoo on a grass field...

@Balthic We were kind of lucky in regards to the grass. We weren't precise enough in january. We were a lot better in april through august, when we was finished

Fantastic! Was in London and hoped to get to Beating Retreat. Even more disappointed I could not get there now I know the King's Guard were there. That's what I call a guest appearance. Would love to see this in an atmospheric setting in Norway.

Something was wrong in the signal trumpets,they though they should repeat at 0:19-0:21. but they did correct it during the playing,but i still heard it
