  • @ ibanez860 Yes, I've caught 50 + bows in one day here is So. California in our local Mountain lake. I consider anything under 15 a bad fishing day.

  • Good video, good fish. In Australia are your lakes open 24/7 for fishing and do you have to pay a daily fee to fish? Thank you!

  • @shal0mnurh0me

    thanks

yeh they are open all the time and no fee to fish the lakes.

  • Another cracking vid fellas, well done. And a huge pat on the back for releasing (or trying to release lol ) such large fish. A good fisherman can catch fish like that, but a better fisherman can release them!!! Sensational.

  • what a clean lake

  • @fishingfreak001 thanks used a 8 and got some good ones

  • Jesus christ just reel it in...

  • we use that same tazzy in Colorado, U.S.

  • Best luck i've ever had with rainbow trout was a wedding ring spooner with a drop shot and a worm. We trolled down about 15 yards from the shoreline and we were ripping them outta the water every 5 minutes. I caught a 4 pounder that day haha.

  • with atlanticsalmon if you hook them there fucked so you should keep it or it will die

i think the same applies here not sure but i think you should of kept him and yes this is trout but itts in the sal,on family

  • @sheepshitonastick Haha that reminds me of when I hooked a rainbow trout right in the eye.

  • has anyone else ever caught 50 plus bows in a day.... i want responses even if no

  • You should jerk your rod when you see the end of your rod moving:)!:)

  • Nice bow man!

Thanks for releasing it so it can be caught another day.

    BTW sick pants dog. :P

  • Nice fish! Just curious, how deep were you set with the float/worm rig?

  • we had the float about 80cm bellow with the powerbait a little bit above the worm

  • nice work mate. I live in the area too, just off York Rd near the York on Lilydale. Never fished much but wanna get into it. Just came back from a holiday from Darwin and went a charter up there, Good fun.

Do you fish anywhere else around the area,?have you tried any of the creeks around here?

  • Na don't really go anyway else but the rockwall. A few days after a good amount of rain, trout hang around the creek entrance and can be caught on worms, maggots, powerbait, hardbodies and soft plastics lightly weighted. Re-stocking soon so these holidays there will be new fish in there

  • dude i like your pants...

  • your sooo gay

  • @bairbum you calling them gay, look at your name. it says it all

  • hey nice video when was this video taken?? is now the best time to fish for trout at the lake??

  • it was taken today (7/5/09)

now is a great time to get them, its been stocked recently
