  • if you want the meaning of fearless these are you guys

  • @BrandonBlaze904 Hmm i don't think you are on the right video after being told twice :(

  • good thing the imperium has the grey knights becuse there custodians dont do any thing but guard the zombie king as i understand it and some one needs to be around for when those chaos primarch's pop up

  • i just finished reading the omnibus book, IT IS EPIC!!!

  • space marine with St 5 Force weapon for 20 points? F**k you all gw...

  • Ah the Gray Knights, I've lost count the amount of times I've saved their lot from Heretics.

  • wow player bragin about his palliden....grey knight walks in and bitch slaps the kid wheres that pic at i wanna see it

  • God damn...blown away, specially since grey knights its my favorite novel since it was my first step to the warhammer 40k universe

  • i've found myself listening to this music when i'm drawing 40k-related material x]

  • Ah the Grey Knights, so pure and lobotomized that they are actually boring. At the very best they have ONE single memory from their childhood to cling on to. Yet they are the greatest heroes of mankind. There ain't a personality for the ruinous powers to tempt.

  • @Beaviz81 And yet, almost no one knows who they are. Ordinary citizens have no idea they exist, and only a few Space Marine chapters know they exist as well since they mind wipe most of the Chapters they fight alongside with.

  • @diablolrm90

It must be stated it ain't the Grey Knights that mind-wipes the Chapters, it's the most fanatical of the Inquisition Ordo Malleus. Shall be interesting to see the epilogue of Vraks as many million of soldiers saw the Grey Knights.

  • @Beaviz81 Your statement is the reason the books are pretty shit. Shit is a harsh word but they don't hold there own as well as other 40K books.

  • if you ever make another try to see if you can use some of St Theo's work from deviant art he honestly has the best warhammer 40k fan art i have ever seen

  • I listen to this song when I am depressed, to remember the untold millions that died in the star and the see the folly of my sadness.

  • Negative, there is no set pattern. Especially for a unique out of the normal borders of the "coloring book" type of unit. The Codex is like their prescribed battle bible for procedure. But the very nature of Grey Knights means their approaches must change based on the situation and enemy. Don't be surprised to see changes in equipment for every deployment.

Now that aside, artists typically are famous for being very liberal and doing what fits their image of the pic in their head. -Drake

  • I LISTEN TO THIS SONG WHEN IM HAPPY

  • @videoinspector sorry their left gauntlet

  • I am the right hand of the emperor. The tip of his spear, the edge of his sword.

FOR THE EMPEROR, DEATH TO CHAOS AND THE RUINOUS POWERS

  • @ColonelCuban6419 Yup :D, and RAGE! against Matt Ward for ruining years of fluff for the Grey Knights with his heretical piece of writing for Grey Knights in 5th Edition! RAGE!

  • @HoOkEdOnBlEaCh Wells Heretics isn't really my department... I can give Karamazov a call though. Totally up his ordos's alley.

  • @HoOkEdOnBlEaCh YOU LEAVE THAT PUSSY MATT WARD TO US. WE'LL BEAT HIS HEAD IN WITH A POWERCHAIR.

    -Sincerely, THE MOTHERFUCKING ANGRY MARINES.

  • So please someone answer me this question, i am new to the warhammer 40k universe so please answer me this:

How is the strongest (best trained, most tactful and strategically sound, bravest, dedicated) chapter in the space marines armies?

Is it the grey wolves or the ultramarines?

and which are the ones equipped with the best armor/weapons?

  • Comment removed

  • @RecoverRedeem The Grey Knights are the better of the chapters with armour and weapons but they are a

little... Insane. For example, they will kill their allies if it means that they can win, without question. So yes they are very brave and dedicated... A little bit too dedicated. The Ultramarines follow their tactics by the book without deviation so they can be both good and bad at times. Both are not trained, but made for war

  • @TheLemon642 lol sounds like my kind of guys

    Gknight: wuts up dude?

Ultramrine: nothing much btw your mom was up... ON ME LAST NIGHT

Gknight: oh really? did you know i kill my allies for fun -- err i mean if i can't win a battle and your being useless?

    Ultramarine: right...

  • @TheLemon642 lol jk thx for the answer though

    FOR THE EMPIRE!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RecoverRedeem grey wolves? LOL it's space wolves, grey knigths are the best for their gene seed commes from the emperor space wolves are second because they will NEVER question anny order from the emperor and their primarch is by far the most badass

  • @notenufdaka

lol well EXCUSE ME, as I said I am new to the warhammer 40k universe still and don't know all of the main chapters of the space marines.

Besides grey wolves, space wolves... same thing, their both wolves :D

  • @RecoverRedeem Leave Recover alone :) He's only an initiate.

  • so basicly what ive read is that there the space marines that other space marines dont fuck with

  • @takkun34

    Basically yes

  • The Grey Knights have psyonic shields in there Armors + they got the Mental shield +++ they got anti demonic tatoos or something they cant be corruptet theyre the last Line between Demins and Humanity They are the real Sons of the Imperator!!!

  • they have hats

  • Grey knights, when normal space marine weren't badass enough

  • To put it quite simply gentlemen, the Grey Knights are an Astartes Chapter created by the Emperor's command for the specific purpose of fighting against Chaos. They are Humanity's very best Daemon-fighters, and on the basis that their souls are incorruptible and pure - the minions of Chaos shriek and writhe in pain when near them.

It is in a way, exactly what Daemons fear - an incorruptible mind, free of all taint.

Over the past 10K years of service, not one Grey Knight has ever fallen.

  • @NicholasGeschke when the void dragon rise all will be harvest, even the Adeptus Mechanicus worship him we will clean the galaxy of flesh, even the iron knights could not kill him

  • @NicholasGeschke ah but as we all know grey knights have access to everything they can lie and change records

  • @NicholasGeschke not fallen to corruption, but fallen in combat. you should specify. also they are all psykers

  • @vampireknightvk

That IS what I meant. All Grey Knights are indeed powerful Psykers. Thing about these guys is that Psykers are supposed to be extra susceptible to corruption, but there is the fact that not one of them has ever been corrupted.

I imagine quite literally thousands of them have died in the least in combat, but that isn't what I meant.

  • The Emperor protects. But it does no harm to double check.

  • Are grey knights a space marine chapter?

  • they are a chosen group of marines from all chapters that are trained into the greatest honor of serving the emperor from the horrors of the warp and the spawn of traitors. They are a chapter in there own right but are not of the typical bases. The men of there chapter are chosen from other chapters some even from chapters that have fallen into chaos but men that kept there faith in the emperor and proved themselves above all others. they do not select from a world but from within.

  • It is rumoured that the Grey Knights share a genetic heritage with the Emperor himself in the same way as other Adeptus Astartes do with their Primarch. If this were indeed true, then it would go some way to explain how the Grey Knights can face the Daemons of the Warp and remain pure and untainted; in their ten-thousand year history, not a single Grey Knight has fallen to Chaos.

  • @matt19940209 what u trying to say?

  • @S1B3LLU5 when grey knights recruit they find children and infants with physic abilities and put them through hellish training. they dont take marines from other chapters

  • @xLionheartx1 diss credited. if you are going to argue with me at least have your facts straight. Direct quotations from Grey Knights origins Codex 40k."of the twelve, four were lords and administrators possessed of inquisitive nature and unyielding strength of mind. the other eight were space marines whos abilities were as peerless as their dedication to the emperor. some haild from legions that had abandoned the Emperor's light in favour of Horus' darkpromises, but these battle-brothers had--

  • @S1B3LLU5 never lost their loyalty and had fought the heresy from within. fulsome in his approval of the selection, The emperor bade Malcador proceed with the next stage of his plan" these are the 8 grand masters of the Grey knights chapter #666 "a space marine chapter" recruits are explained further in to be selected from other chapters as well as from any world in the imperium typicly barbaric worlds. should they wish the gatherers can even recruit directly from the Black Ships-

  • @S1B3LLU5 the ghostly vessels that prowl the imperium, gathering tithes of psykers-or from the selection grounds of other Space Marine chapters. Indeed, some chapters, Notably the "Exorcists" and the Silver Skulls, take it upon themselves to identify those amongst their own recruits in whom the grey Knights might show an interest and notify the gatherers directly." So yes they do take from other chapters Grey Knight codex. and to answer the original question yes they are chapter 666 space marines

  • Working my way through the 2nd book and I am loving it :) great books for a great chapter. If you liked the grey knight books I recommend the soul drinker books also by Ben Counter. equally epic.

  • have these tracks been used in any game or movie before ?

    they sound really epic :)

  • Un fecking believable. Thankyou for going to so much effort.

As others have said the Grey Knights books are fantastic

  • @Ardreas Books? I only thought there was one by ben counter called grey knights....i liked that book more would be cool.

  • @OneMove33 Yeah there are 3 in the Grey Knights series which you can buy as an Omnibus too. The individual books are Grey Knights, Dark Adeptus and Hammer of Daemons

  • The music in this video made me jizz all over my screen. Imagine a grey kinght squad of paladins rush into the very fire of battle against the daemons. So epic.

  • +ordo sepulturum, sicarius, militum, and obsuletus. Though their functions, of course, pretty much overlap with the three main ordos.

  • I red all books of the Gray Knights! I can just say: READ THEM! or eat their shit! This Books are fucking awsome! like this video dude! thats for uploading ;D

  • The Inquisition is split into Ordo Xenos, that protect the Imperium from the 'threats without', basically aliens; Ordo Hereticus, that acts against the 'threats within', in essence heretics, rebels and whatnot; and Ordo Malleus, which does battle against the 'threats beyond': the Daemons and Chaos Psykers.

Each of the Ordos has its own House Militant, an armed force exclusively in service of the Ordo. The Grey Knights, while technically Space Marines and a Chapter, are the Malleus' military.

  • Just started playing 40K as GK. This is pretty sick! nice Job on it!

  • is the inquisition solely formed by the grey knights or are there other chapters involved. i never much understood the inquisition part, excuse me for that.

  • @pipo2706

There's others like the Witchhunters (Sisters of Battle), Inquisitorial Storm Troopers, Death Watch ( Xenos Hunters ) etc

but the Daemonhunters (Grey Knights) are the oldest ( and arguably the best ) section, supposedly founded by the Emperor himself.

From what I've read in the Codex they all have powers rivalling those of Chaos Sorcerers ( but used in a "holy" manner ), rumoured DAoT tech, and lots of Terminators ! :D

  • Oh the irony that the purgin deamons chapter is 666

  • @00Partyfox00 That was intentional. Grey Knihgts were marked as 666 chapter long before there were 600+ chapters

  • grey knights are to space marines as space marines are to an imperial guardsman

  • @inconsistanttruth but the GK are space marines

  • @inconsistanttruth No they're not, you are thinking of the adeptus custodius, the personal gaurds of the emperor.

  • Why does everyone leave out the blood ravens!? Is it cos they is speshul? xD

  • @StudioCPA maybe its because we were forced to play and interact with them trough 2 games each with 2 or more addons^^totaly downplaying all the other chapters^^and least in the new game space marines you get to play as ultramarines

  • its by gunflash20, but says by gunflash22

  • FOR THE EMPEROR!!

    youtube.com/watch?v=BhBWuIMXUrA

  • Personally i think that the grey knights, ultramarines, salamanders, and the raven guard are the best.

  • dark angels, blood angels, and grey knights are my favorite forces of the imperium =) why? cuz they look badass, and they can kick ass!

  • The Space Marine feels no fear the Grey Knight feels nothing.

  • More than match even for a traitor primarch...

then indeed they are from the Emperor himself.

The heretic will suffer the ultimate punishment!

  • Chuck Norris is the Primarch of the Grey Knights XD

  • THIS IS THE JUDGEMENT OF THE RIGHTGEOUS!!! SCUM!!!

  • Grey knights, humanity's greatest and most secretive protectors, no ordinary citizen of the imperium will ever know their names. Sounds alot like....SEAL TEAM 6!!

  • "I am the Hammer. I am the hate. I am the bane of His foes and the woes of Daemonkind. I am the tip of His spear. I am the gauntlet about His fist. I am the end!"

The Grey Knights - the mightiest Daemon-fighters in the Imperium, and the only Chapter that has never lost one of its members to corruption. Their souls are incorruptible and pure - and they are the very best weapon Humanity has against Chaos.

  • @NicholasGeschke

    The best weapon..maybe true.

But the best soldiers are the members of the Adeptus Custodes ;)

  • at 3:03 i know where u got that from,

its the book cover of 'Dark Adeptus' cos i got the book ;)

  • I am Lord Inquisitor Nkarn Fenix, Ordo Malleus. I was once of the grey Knights, Called to duty in the wider feild of duty By my now dead predeccessor, Lord Inquisitor Hedron Meledicus. I wonder, How is it you came by this information? Such Knowledge is sacred and secret. I hereby sentance you to Arco-flagelancy for conspiracy and the theft of Sacred Information.

Other than that, I like the Video.

  • this must beof old grey knights

    1. i have the new codex, one image of these is in it (guess)

    2. where are the dreadnoughts and dreadknights

    3. grey knights dont use boltguns

  • @vidioinspector yes they do?

  • @animewarrior3 grey knight use storm bolters have you ever seen one with a boltgun? no? i havent either?

  • @vidioinspector Just so you know their storm bolters are built into the right gauntlet of their power armor.

  • I smell dead heretics, lot and lot of dead heretics.

  • FOR THE ORDO MALLEAUS!

  • Titan's finest.

  • When ever i play Tau its always these grey knight mutha fukas that do so much damage! FOR THE GREATER GOOD!!!

  • it amazes me how grey knights can defeat a chaos primarch. I mean come on they were THE emperor's sons and too be defeated by lower gene seeds than them is just pathetic i believe.

  • @darkfeather001 THe grey knights are probably the emperor's sons too, geneseed-wise.

  • @murryrox Actually my friend, the geneseed of the Grey Knight's blatently comes from Chuck Norris ;)

  • @darkfeather001

Grey Knights defeating Angron kind of made sense, considering there were about a hundred of them, most of which died in the process.

Draigo slapping Mortarion's shit is just because Matt Ward is a terrible writer.

  • many a man see a grey kinght's unpainted armor and ask him,"from what chapter do you hail from?' the grey knight replies,"are you a mad man to speak to thin air as if it were a marine?"

    I thought of that.. AFAIK.

  • Lord Kaldor Draigo is EPIC

  • @joomunje

    Nope.

  • Let us see how they shall do when they face the Daemon Prince Us'etil'akhed'raan at the Second Siege of Terra.

  • @Wh40kFinatic like always, winning

  • @Wh40kFinatic They managed to turn the tide of war in the first war of Armageddon, slaying Angron and his 12 Greater Daemons of Khorne... trust me, they know far too well how to do their job

  • @FramDragonslayer that's cool I didn't know that. I thought Angron was still up and running for some reason. I guess the grey knights omnibus is the most recent one chronologically because it occurs during the 13th black crusade (42 millenium)

  • Beware Heretics!! Inquisitions Are In Your Doorsteps!!

  • terminators as troop choices! were my wallet and paint brush!

  • I Hate Matt Ward

i wish upon him a mighty hammer to squash his face

  • Comment removed

  • Captain Garro said to have secretly continued to fight against Chaos Space Marines in his original Death Guard colours, does help found a secretive group to resist/combat enemies of the Emperor

  • Just saw the new Codex... Who is not going to buy Inperial Chimaras 55pts, 6 gun ports, Multi laser & shoot out hatch.... 12 ap front toward objective

  • grey nights=insane space christains sorry if i'm offenceive

  • @wazdakka131211

What might we be "offenceived" by?

You manage to miss-spell the very bloody name of the chapter, despite it being in the goddamn title of the freakin video-clip; in and of itself something punishable by castration in my humble opinion.

.. and what the hell is a "christain"?

If I'm offended by anything, it's your lack of coherent grammar x_x

  • @wazdakka131211

Your spelling is terrible, you might want to do something about that.

They're not really Christians but yeah, they are massive zealots.

  • LANG LEBEN DIE GREY KNIGHTS^^

  • if you read the Flight of the Eisentein novel form the Hous Hersy books, it kinda tells you who the original 3 leaders of the 3 different inquisition. (Garro being Grey Knight)

  • @shadowseer92

Grey Knights aren't a faction of the Inquisition per se, they're the military arm of the Ordo Malleus - the faction targeted with hunting down and wiping out daemonic activity and entities; and to an extent trying to 'understand the daemon.'

  • @rahma4 i'm just saying, where the gene seed comes from, as people think it's from the emperor himself

  • @shadowseer92

    Ah okay, my bad :p

You're right in that ofcourse :)

  • is it true that grey knights have the geneseed of the emperor?

  • @fireblade1993ify Maybe.

  • @Anathema1984 must be why they cant fall to chaos then

  • @fireblade1993ify confirmed from new Codex. GK have the Geneseed from the Garro of the DeathGuarsd.

  • @Ferrusmanus83 what happed to Garro after the horus heresy?

  • at 1:03 there is cupid LOL!

  • Who's that at 1:03?

  • How bout an exorcist tribute?

  • More than a Match even for a traitor primarch?

Like Angron? NOPE. Many were killed till they got lucky.

  • @SS0UTHB0UND

100 Grey Knights took out Angron and his retinue of 12 Bloodthirsters. Not to mention the fact that it was in the middle of a Daemonic horde, so they probably killed a lot of Bloodletters too.

  • @Zeredek They probably had support from a shitload of guardsmen as well.

  • @nakenmil Normally, I'd say yes. But with Grey Knights...

  • @ZakkLamm Yes?

  • @nakenmil ordinarry guardsmen would be driven insane against deamon's including greater deamons there was for the first war of armagadon which is that war a company of space wolves there. but yeah grey knights are deamon hunter's they are specially designed trained and equiped to kill the deamonic.

  • @jondysnach Not every Guardsman who fights the forces of Chaos is doomed to insanity which would ultimately render them traitors. Consider Ollanius Pius, who stood before Horus himself to protect his Emperor. He died, this is true, but he did not fall prey to the madness of the Warp. Consider the Cadians, who stand right at Chaos's front gates, and endlessly work to ensure that no Black Crusade succeeds. Ordinary or not, that some will fall does not make them unreliable.

  • @Kinshu5 most of the time guardsmen face the mortal force's of chaos i am talking of specifically the deamonic and full blown deamonic incursions and when they occure only the grey knights are trusted to go in there to deal with it. even for astrates most don't survive and go insane. which the first war of armagedon was when angron was there. but even then 100 grey knights where being backed up by 3rd company of space wolves.

  • @jondysnach um wait guard were at armagetion theres a whole regiment called the armegetion steel legion

  • @jondysnach Except for the fact that Guardsmen kill and win over daemons on a regular basis. :-P

Don't get me wrong, yes, Grey Knights are specialists on killing daemons, but that doesn't make them invincible. They, like virtually all other special forces need support to complete their missions. Whatever Mat Ward wants to make people believe.

  • @nakenmil

Like that Khorne's strongest daemon got beaten by a single badass Inquisitor?

  • @dragonstormx Or that Marneus Calgar killed an Eldar Avatar on his own.

Basically, Mat Ward gets really enthusiastic about the army he writes about, and so he wants to make up these great stories about them. The problem is that often, they just come off as a bit too much, and so the fanbois scream "OMG OUR ARMY IS TEH BEST! LOLOL!111" when they read it.

  • @nakenmil

Aangrath getting beaten by Hector Rex was actually in one of the Imperial Armor books. Still, they need to find someone else to write the codexes, I especially don't like how invincible it tries to boast the Tyranids are and that the recent Dark Eldar codex tries to hype an army that's supposed to be a minor power.

  • @dragonstormx All codices will hype up their army, obviously. And personally I think the recent Dark Eldar background was leagues beyond the recent Grey Knights fluff, though of course I don't think it was perfect - but Your Mileage May Vary and all that. One can't please everyone. Personally though, I think it's possible to write it in a tone that doesn't come off as inane, and also insert some flaws here and there.

  • @dragonstormx thats true. Why is dark elder so powerful? I had always thought that elder and dark elder seeing as their race is now extinct they would help each other over common disputes. No?

  • @gibbom8dman8

From what I can the Dark Eldar mostly do care as to what happens to the regular Eldar, except for when there was the bizarre reason the codex had them help a craftword against the Tyranids, even though the Dark Eldar didn't stand to gain anything from it.

  • @dragonstormx I dont understand how they deviated though?? Are they just morally insane? Or crazy? Cause their are a bitch to play with, especially since they are miniature. And in the 40k world they don't seem that bad-ass; without hearing how they got stopped by guardsmen or what have you. lol.

  • @gibbom8dman8 You cannot call them insane or crazy though. Grey Knights fights daemons, the most dangerous foe known to man if left unchecked. Thus they do everything necessary to bring down a demonic incursion, including sacrificing allies if necessary.

  • @diablolrm90 grey knights? No man. I was talking about Dark Eldar. Not grey nights. lol.

    Grey knights are beast...

  • @gibbom8dman8 My mistake :D. My youtube screwed up and didn't show the comments above yours, so I thought you were talking about grey knights.

  • @nakenmil

The story you cited had the Avatar attacked by 2 units of Terminators, shot at by Devastators and Tactical Marines and then finally killed by Calgar.

If I were to put all that on the table to face off against your Avatar I doubt you'd stand much of a chance.

  • ccc chaos ccc

  • Grey Knight rock!

  • I am the Hammer!

I am the point of His spear!

I am the mail about His fist!

I am the bane of His foes and the woes of the treacherous!

    I am the end!

  • I have great respect for the Ordo Malleus, but I prefer the Ordo Xenos myself. There is great satisfaction to be found in purging the alien filth form the Emperor's sight.

  • @Testocules I agree, but in the end it will be The Imperium/Tau empire(because they pose the least threat to humanity/Necrons (since the Void Dragon is on mars, because the Emperor gave him sanction)/ vs chaos in the end/ eldar will off doing their own thing when these great super powers attack the warp all at once, with the help of Tyranids of course (because I want the to be there)

  • buurrrnnnnn HERETICCC !

  • Blood for the Blood God!

  • @Section8Spectre pfffft, blood for the blood god, I mean come on, seriously? Don't you Chaos guys think the god of blood might have enough blood already? Why not try and get him something he might not have much of, like Pizza? Everybody can appreciate pizza :) do you know how hard it is to get a good pizza delivered in the warp?

  • @LunaWolf217 Lol. luv ur comment.

  • @LunaWolf217 bloodforthe bllod god! (and corn for khorneflakes! :-))

  • @drzoidburgrocks khorneflakes, turns ur milk red!

    now with skull marshmallows

  • A spiritu dominatus, Domine, libra nos, From the lightning and the tempest, Our Emperor, deliver us. From plague, deceit, temptation and war, Our Emperor, deliver us, From the scourge of the Kraken, Our Emperor, deliver us. From the blasphemy of the Fallen, Our Emperor, deliver us, From the begetting of daemons, Our Emperor, deliver us, From the curse of the mutant, Our Emperor, deliver us, A morte perpetua, Domine, libra nos.
  • @Todesengerl loyalist scum

  • @jonahtakalua1

may the almighty emperor forgive your cursed soul...

    Requiescat in pace.

  • @Todesengerl his rotting "holiness" holds no power or jurisdiction over my soul. My soul belongs to the true Gods. To Chaos Almighty!!!

  • @jonahtakalua1 In the name of the Emperor's Holy Inquisition, I declare you to be a heretic, and unworthy of life.

  • @ZakkLamm Never have I sworn allegiance to your false emperor. You are but a slave to a rotting corpse, clinging to what little hope you have left. You have no place to declare me unworhty of life, you wouldn't know what life is, slave. HAIL TZEENTCH!

  • @jonahtakalua1 Enough of this blasphemous heresy. I will hear no more of it. Be gone from my sight, filth of Chaos.

  • Meh.... for the chaos gods...it's more fun at all! :D

  • Heretics and daemons, tremble. In April the Grey Knights shall receive their own codex, and you shall know fear.
