Don't get me wrong, it is a piece of engineering excellence and a work of art. The idea of a six-cylinder bike is very cool. Especially given what six-cylinder Laverdas sound like (beautiful).

It's just that at the price they're likely to sell this bike for will only turn it into a two-wheeled status symbol. And status symbols are not my bag, baby. I see myself as a proper hardcore biker. I ride all year round and it's my only form of transport. The toffs are only driving prices up.

i'd seem to think it'll reminisce one of a CBX.. the "sound" is a function of combustion chamber and port design, and BMW has very nice characteristics (typically) when it comes to this. i have a ZX7R with a micron exhaust that sounds absolutely evil (and low..) chances are any aftermarked supplier will be able to work magic with this platform. looking forward to getting on one of these soon.. not looking forward to repairs or service, however.. lol guess i'll have to upgrade my scan equipment.
