This song is better sung as a duet. John did it as a solo in some cases. On a tape I got in the '80 his version with Silvy is included and it's among his best songs on it.

Sylvie Vartan isn't Armenian but Bulgarian native. She was a former singer in France an first married with the french rock star Johnny Halliday; Then she left and now is living in L.A.

Does anyone know if they actually had a relationship or if it was all supposedly professional enactment with the tour of that song? I am supposing they might have but does anyone know for SURE?? Just wondering.....I know that was right (before) he met his second wife.
