  • I think this music is great to do modern dance to . . . In high school I did a modern dance to The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly for a physical education project . . . I loved the music then and I love it now!

  • best moment on kick-ass!!!

  • Sergio Leone was the Italian John Ford when it came to Westerns and in a lot of his movies, He was better than John Ford. I'll say this which Western was better, The Searchers or The Good ,The Bad, and The Ugly??????

  • @Airsoftcleaner In my opinion, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

  • Why'd they have to use this epic theme in that hipster shit Kick-Ass?

  • @JoeSonic5678 becuase they werent original enough to come up with their own music so they had to steal one of the best songs of all-time from one of the best westerns of all-time.

  • @Foxtrot323 Too right.

  • @JoeSonic5678 i'm pretty sure the writers knew waht they were doing...using the song was meant as tribute and it worked. it worked well. imo.

  • Thumbs up if you think Ennio Morricone is one of the greatest composers even compared to todays standards. My word what pretty music...

  • @Hickok45jr what do you mean "today's standards"? like all composers now are as good as Morricone was back then..

  • reminds me of fantastic mr.fox movie

  • One of the best westerns of all time, third to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Hang 'em High. Ennio Morricone's music complements Clint's uniquely understated way of kicking ass in classic Spaghetti Western fashion.

  • @emceeaye Naw, For a Few Dollars More is solidly #1, with Once Upon a Time in the West #2, and the GB&U #3. Hey, that Leone guy is pretty good eh?

  • WHEN MEN WERE MEN AND WOMEN WERE PLENTY.

  • @nickmadman and now...men are men...and so are the women

  • Immer wieder schön anzuhören.... Schöne Grüße.... Tommi

  • This movie is a timeless classic as well as the score. Long live the "spaghetti" westerns.

  • 10 don't like western movies...

  • 10 people must be bad guys that die with a shot in their heads

  • Try not to whistle along to this. Yeah, it's impossible...

  • @LalsMK91 I can't whistle, so yeah it is possible.

  • fue con estos westerns que se hizo famoso clint eastwood

  • Geweldig dit

    Het blijft mooi.

  • Legendary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • que cimba de tema en medellin colombia nos gusta

  • grazy ole bell ringer was right..

  • I bet that if they re-release this trilogy in the theaters right now, they'd be the biggest hits of the year easily. They're so ahead of their time.

  • @sapphyrus i would not re-release, i would keep it original. cuz they will ruin the image of this legendary movie.

  • @sapphyrus if only they would :/

  • @sapphyrus trilogy? what trilogy???

  • Comment removed

  • @for1nt Dollars Trilogy

  • @for1nt Sergio Leone's the Man with No Name trilogy, also includes Fistful of Dollars and the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

  • This music makes me wonna steal someones horse and ride in to the desert .

  • @magnvsmarcvs And with a price on your head, I will have to come after you!!

When life had no value, death often had its price

.....this is why the bounty killers appeared...

  • @BradBrassman ...and then I'll be - the Law of the Desert. And a thief and a mercenary to part with their water, horses, and lives...

  • good music.

  • @Kankannan

Also - I apologise for my somewhat abusive first comment... I can understand the irritation of the "LOLZ TEH KIK ASS IZ DA B357 F1LMZ EVAR" comments. People like that shouldn't be allowed near a keyboard.

That and I don't wish to detract from the fact that; Yes the Western genre was HUGE, with some phenomenally important film-makers at the time.

My point is that their importance is dwarfed by many contemporary counterparts.

Also, cinematographically Kick-Ass is absolutely incredible.

  • @Kankannan

They WERE widely regarded as some of the best films ever made. For maybe 25-30 years after. However it has now been FORTY-FIVE YEARS. In the past two decades there have been a multitude of films more important - politically, emotionally, cinematographically (and probably a million other words ending in -ally) - which you should be fighting over the soundtrack to.

My proof that nobody cares? How many successful westerns have there been in the last.... 20 years? Ten at most, arguably.

  • @DJUsive1 I still think theyre some of the best films ever made, so does Quentin Tarantino and 150000 voters on IMDb since is ranked #5 of all time. Also these movies have their own style, its not meant to be emotional for example, Id be interested in what films you think are more important too. It doesnt matter how new the film is for it to be good, my favorite movie is from 1954, and nothing compares IMO.

  • 3 dirty beaners wanted to duel him, all he had to do was look at them and they ran away, great scene :)

no one fucks with clint eastwood.

  • @Crazyman1212 except white trash...then y'all end up 2 a coffin because he can't count.

  • Sin la música de Ennio el western no habría pasado de ser un juego de pistolas

  • Look of Eastwood on this picture makes me think:"I better run before he will take out fuckin' Colt"

  • Kick Ass was a fun little movie to watch, and I'm glad they used the title song, but a movie like "For a Few Dollars More" is simply an uber classic, something in this genre will never be equaled again, by anyone.

  • I'm fucking sick of the little elitist fucking retards all over these videos who SINCERELY believe that they're better than everyone else because they saw the bullshit film which originally featured Ennio Morricone's work.

    FUCK. YOU.

Grow up the fucking lot of you.

Extract your heads from your anal sphincters and smell some fresh air. It smells good doesn't it? Mmmm. Fresh.

Don't get used to it. You closed-minded, pretentious fuckers aren't allowed anymore. EVER.

    Now leave.

  • @DJUsive1 so tell us how you really feel kid? C'mon open up you jacked jacknape hypocrit.

  • @GrigoriZhukov

Kid? Get over yourself. Assuming people are younger than you is a form of psychological self-defence. I'm 23. If you're 30 or over, please feel free to continue calling me "kid".

At no point have I been hypocritical, perhaps you should check the definition of a word before you try to use it in a vain bid to appear more intelligent than you actually are.

  • @DJUsive1 Yep old enough to be your dad. 8^) Mind you I was a horny little git in middle school. =8^O But yeah, your post was very much exactly like what you were railing against. should have used the dang smilie...as everybody is guilty of hypocracy sooner or later and usually sooner. I will freely admt that I usually catch it about 2 sec after I post. BUT sometimes...to make a point you have to be that way eh?

  • @DJUsive1 calm down... we are all friends here...

  • i like it that Kick Ass also used this theme... its a very epic song <3

  • 9 people have gone deaf

  • Vain muutaman dollarin tähden=Finnish title.

  • Hmz... the question actually is... is this really a good song,a great song even (my opinion) or is such because it was on For a few dollars more- soundtrack.. one of the all time best westerns or cos it was in Kick-Ass Soundtrack.. I do think i have heard the song on numerous tv shows etc. I do enjoy hearing it in no matter what context, but would i ever had heard it had Ennio Morricone and his music not been made famous by the Italowesterns..prolly,but not as famous,i think.

  • es la raja

  • Muito bom!

  • 5 stars for the handsome man :) and the song!

  • shit...ennio morricone kicks ass...lol

  • Lol you can't even compare Kick-Ass with For A Few Dollars More, they're both totally different, you can't say For A Few Dollars More is better, stop whining.

This song was also featured in Kick-Ass, which was a kick-ass movie.

There, what you whiners gonna do about it?

Btw, The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly is better haha

  • @vantorias

    THANK YOU!

    Finally someone gets the point.

  • @drumline17

Simple. It proves you had the good taste to watch highly regard classic movies. Not to mention Ennio Morricone is well known for people who know a thing about movie music.

Guess what? You're FLAGGED for being a cretin with no manners. Not only are you an idiot but you actually seem PROUD of it too ("who reads?").

Now go and flip your burgers or whatever a lowlife scum like you does for a living.

Do you know what eugenics is? It should be re-introduced in society to prevent you.

  • @McLarenMercedes

    I concur.

  • @McLarenMercedes So basically, anybody who watched this movie before kick-ass has better taste, and anybody who saw kick-ass first is "lowlife scum"? Wow, it's so clear now.

  • @McLarenMercedes

Grow up you elitist little fuckwit. You're the one who'd get my vote for first protagonist of eugenics. These "classic" films are only classic for one specific generation. It's not about "good taste", I'm sure there are millions of people who have better taste in film than you having never watched a single shite western. I mean, I straight out don't like them - but how much world cinema have you watched lately?

Get some fucking decency and perspective, you nasty little shit.

  • @McLarenMercedes

You can barely string together a grammatical sentence.

In fact, scratch the barely. I'm not sure you even got ONE in that whole rant...

You're clearly an inbred danger to the gene-pool. Go home.

  • Red Dead and Kick Ass are pretty good, but they got nothing on the Dollars trilogy.

  • @FreedomFighterReturn And all awesome.

  • I would recomend watching : IL BUONO IL BRUTTO IL CATTIVO S.MARIA LA CARITA.

The italian's cover...if you want to leave a comment thanks .

  • Damn...makes me want to cry when I hear this song. I was raised in the country-side and with my father, we would watch these movies all the time. Best soundtracks ever! The trio of movies are to date, the best trio EVER!!! And if you don't agree, fuck you.

  • @SANFRANCISCOBRONX I was raised in the Irish countryside and that exactly how I came across Morricone, watching these movies with my dad and listening to his scratchy old vinyl of this album!

  • @yourthewanthickcunt Our fathers were REAL men...we should thank them everyday. Be it the Irish country side...Texas or El Salvador...this movie and sountrack are magic. Cheers.

  • the Master!

  • Commenting as someone who heard this in Kick-Ass, and actually recognized it.

  • @TheHeroOfLegends you have to have never watched anything at all to not know this tune, its like not knowing the theme to star wars or the good the bad and the ugly, everyone has heard it before :P

  • @Policestate2000 You must hang out with some cool people.

  • Get 8 no 9 coffins ready....

  • @FreedomFighterReturn =0 it cant bes!

  • @FreedomFighterReturn and you're more than half an ass :)

  • this song are very nice

  • lol, new dumb "de"generations recognized this as kick ass movie only, where this world is going to :P

  • HIT-GIRL KICKED ASS

  • Comment removed

  • HIT-GIRL!

  • Let her in. It's just a little kid, what the hell's the matter with you?

    *blam*

    *dead*

  • ASS-KICKED

  • Priceless xD

  • RED DEAD REDEMPTION!!!!!

  • awesome

  • Bravo Sergio Leone and ennio Morricone, how come the Italians were doing the best westerns ever?

  • @TheMosquito123456789 Because they like to start shootouts in desertic areas far away from everything like Sicily

  • I liked Kick-Ass from the start, but when I heard THIS song I just had to find the scene and replay it. Repeatedly. Funny how an 11 year old girl can be more badass than Clint Eastwood, isn't it?

  • @BeefLoverMan That 11 year old girl wishes in vain that she could be but a tiny fraction of the bad-assery that is Clint Eastwood's stubble; needless to say, her ambitions will always be light years away from actualization.

  • @GirevikDangerfield got em'

  • SONG OWNS

  • heard it from KICK-ASS the movie :D

  • Stop talking about fucking kick-ass. For a few dollars more is a thousand times better.

  • @Kankannan yea indeed

  • @Kankannan

    Amen!

  • @Kankannan

You're an idiot. Nobody gives a fuck about westerns. There's about three good ones and after that they just recycle stories and actors.

And since Kick-Ass is the most recent film to use this song, are you really so retarded that you don't expect everyone to mention it? Get the fuck out of the gene pool with your countable-on-your-fingers IQ.

  • @DJUsive1 "Nobody gives a fuck about westerns", is that why Sergio Leones movies are widely known as some of the best movies ever made? The comments were flooded with "lolz teh kick-ass scene!" comments, while For a few dollars more is perfectly fit for the song. Go stick to your porn collection please.

  • @Kankannan No I think you'll find that although 'for a few dollars more' is a great movie, Kick Ass does indeed kick its' ass. Move on with the times dude

  • @neilphillipson Thats the dumbest youtube comment Ive ever seen.

  • @Kankannan No no no, I've seen way dumber comments, but there is a culture on you tube of young people posting comments about stuff that happened before they were around and proclaiming it to be the best ever. Old skool being cool etc, which sometimes it is but I can say on this occasion not so, Kick Ass rocks.

  • @neilphillipson "Kick Ass" was kind of a cute movie, but compared to this, it's a weak and orphaned little sister.

  • @neilphillipson Kick Ass was great but this is just better lol. it is now and always will be. some things never change.

  • KICK ASS I LOVEMOVIE FUNNY VIOLENT

  • @KILLERCLOWNER01 that what have discribed KICK-ASS

  • awesome!

  • Absolutely brill track - reminds me of going on a grand adventure in the wilderness

  • KICK ASS! WOOO

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa ;)

  • el indio

  • Mindi Kicks Ass!

  • Download Kick-ass at ThePirateBay now!! Dvdrip quality!

  • KICK ASS!!! and Clint Eastwood

  • How the fuck can you post something like " Kick ass " ? Wow okay, it might a funny movie to watch for you, but why are u saying that Kick ass is better ? I'd bet my house that 90 % of those who posted that sort of comments never watched S.Leone's films, Lol.

  • One of the greatest theme tunes ever, for a classic film (trilogy).

  • Everyone's going to recognize this song from the wrong movie. It's from For a Few Dollars More, always will be. Get it right.

  • As soon as I heard this in Kick-Ass I yelled CLINT EASTWOOD OWNS!!!!

  • that music KICKS ASS
