@Shancus32796 Season 1 Janice was voiced by a woman. Season 2, Richard Hunt took over... but in the beginning he tried to impersonate the woman who originally voiced her, and that's what we're hearing here. The "chill" voice we all know and love simply hadn't been developed at this point. :)
their innovative puppeteering mixed with clever camera work and ready & willing guest stars makes this show complete genius! this show was way ahead of its time! 5/5 =D
Don doesn't have a whole lot of luck with monsters, does he? First he has to share his dressing room with a "female" Gorgon Heap, and then arouses the wrath of Mean Mama.
@mabgamer6407 Why do you initial them L and R? Their names are Statler and Waldorf. Waldorf's the one with the moustache. I thought for a minute you might just be calling them by who's on which side, but even that's backwards. Statler is on the right, and he spoke the first line, which you credited as L.
What a cute Fur-thing! And what an evil fur-thing-mother! Doe these two have names?
Fozzie is cute and funny! But wearing sunglasses in a studio? No wonder he is not seeing anything... - Hmmm, let's see how long the band will continue to see him as hip now... I have a feeling it won't last long...
MIT1369 paid attention in (or to) CLASS. An appearance on "The Muppet Show" was as sought after by "stars" as an appearance on "Saturday Night Live", (in bygone days when SNL still meant anything).
Tickle me Dr. Bob!

I wonder why the show was cancelled after 5 seasons. Was it poor viewership, rising costs, or pure idiocy from the network?

Most likely when covering the puppet head with fabric they used more than needed, shaped it, then used glue or something to freeze it in place.
