man I just got mine today. it really is amazing what this camera can do.

if you still don't have the software, one cheap thing you can do is look up "windows media codecs". I did that for my netbook, and now windows media player and windows movie maker can play and edit .mp4 and even .mov files.

16 GB. 2 hours on the mode I had it. I think r3. Battery only lasts 2 hours anyways.

None of the software is free (unfortunitly) . Download the free trial of "AVS video editor." ( Another good one is "Sony Vegas Pro"). You can always convert them to WMV for windows maker, But you'll loose quality (color mostly.) You can download "Prism video Converter" for free.

With the video editor, there are a bunch of different output settings when you save the movie. Test them out - (mpeg4, h.236, mpeg2, uncompressed, ect.) Let me know how it works, my videos seem to be a bit choppy

v757b, in the box that came with your GoPro HD is an orange doohickey. You need to use it to get rid of that rattling noise.

Search youtube for "GoPro Doohickey" and you'll see how to use it.

Cool vid! If you need some help with editing software for the gopro (MPEG4), let me know. Theres nearly no info about it on the web. I been testing with a new video editor, just having a hard time getting the right output setting for these kind of files without loosing quality, but im getting closer.
