howcome the guy on earth is responding so quickly to the moonguy. There must be a delay of if not seconds, really wierd that he talks as if the delay dont exist
@Qulopuaa The moon is apx 300,000 km from earth. Which is the speed in which light travels in a second. Therefore there would only be a delay of apx one sec.
@jamman55 .No it takes 1 sec for the radiowaves to get to earth then the guy need 1 or 2 sec to think and then 1 sec for the answer to get to the moon.
well we have people in the international space station also they left a small mirrior on the moon that an earth observatory uses to bounce a laser back from the earth to the moon and back to measure how far away it is
@aquarius21192 lol no, they didnt leave a mirror for a laser. There isnt a need for any technological device to determine the distance of the moon. There's a mathematical formula for determining the distance of the moon based on its orbit and it's velocity. See Kepler's Law. Also distance can also be determined through the light spectrum and doppler effect of the moon respectively.
Astronomy researcher David Reneke from Australia said he interviewed Buzz Aldrin last year and discovered some amazing facts that no one knew. He is releasing his findings on Monday "davidreneke". 'com', Stuff like the astronauts had to submit a customs form when they returned. Too funny.
some trhing was done to the film ,,, to remove the time dely in the 550,000 klm trip between earth and moon and back aer you saying the moons closer than the distance that we learn in school ?
time delay ,,, of a boot 2.4 seconds ,there is non why ? if it was edited to strip that delay ,,,why was it not stated (727000 k round trip) suck my big tow as well
While this was happening, a friend of mine had an EME ham radio setup, they were listening to the astronauts using a 30' dish aimed at the moon. You could hear reply's to questions, then the question from Houston. They had a TV that had been modified to show 60fps video. We watched it live from the moon, so unless those guys were part of "it".
Have a look at the JAXA site, look at the comparison images from the Selene orbiter and the Apollo 16 photo's.
@OrphanPaper The Moon is apx 380km away. Light travels apx 300km/s. So less than 1 and 1/3 of a sec. And radiowaves are LIGHT WAVES. Making mountains out of molehills over the "delayed" response stuff folks.
@jamman55 i think you protest to much as you know there was a 2 so that at least 2.5 second 2 way conversation going on the original footage was sent from an Australian tracking station then relayed so even a greater time gap , no time delay was incurred in the footage no massages to say they was manipulation of the footage to drop time lag ,which in 1969 would have taken a day to edit out ,it was promoted as live strange

Of course this is real. Do you think for a minute that the thousands of people involved could all be kept quiet for 40 years? Give me a break.

No MAn had ever step in the moon!!!!!!!!
there were so many proffs, including, the flag, the shadow, "radiation", and so on....
even russia told the truth that they are afraid about the radiation covering earth or even the radiation coming from the sun... think about that...
even Japan had never done it!!!!

what about the time delay , in comunations ,, there no pause ,, between statments ,,
OrphanPaper 2 years ago
You'd think they married up the footage with the audio for the benefit of being able to watch it out of sync.
...and I didn't see any lips moving.
...and stay in school. Your grammar is shocking.

Do you want them to state the fuel, food, oxygen, and condoms used on the trip, as well?.

@OrphanPaper There's only apx one sec delay for radiowaves to reach earth. So not much of a delay at all.

@jamman55 the moons is about 2 seconds each way , the Russians had to train teams to
operate there landing craft because of the time delay
