I'm so freakin' excited for the new season! This is literally one of the best shows on television. I love good music as i am a pianist myself, and my older sister is a dance major in college, and this show has great music and great dancing! Best of both worlds lol

@MRDVS427. No preference, simple facts. Try to compare a hip-hop dancers plié, port de bras, pointe, pull-up etc. to those of a classically trained dancer. They're looking for the best Over-all dancer. Someone who can dance the shit out of hip hop, Latin, ballet, contemporary... For hip-hop alone, there's ABDC

@WalterSantosPR your argument works both ways. almost all of the classical dancers from previous seasons were mediocre at best in hip-hop (but mostly just crap), and it was especially apparent in actual hip-hop routines, rather then jazz-with-chestpops ones. SYTYCD does have a classical bias, having a majority of classical or classical-derived routines and ridiculous judging, i honestly cannot fathom why would anyone argue that.

@MrRodnas1 I agree, Mary Murphy was someone who was hard to take seriously, & she really wasn't critiquing. In fact none of the judges gave the right critiquing during season 8. I missed, and still do, Mia Michaels & Adam Shankman so much. Even though Mia could say derogatory stuff, I believed in her much more than in Mary

Just 1 year..then i am 18 years old...and will fly from germany to USA and audition for sytycd 10 ..... i will train so so so hard for making it....i am trained on myself now since i was 7 ....hope i get the chance to fly 2 the USA
