The Dark Knight is awesome dont get me wrong, but if you take out the athmosphere and the villain of the movie, is only a thriller no a superhero movie. The principal character is not enough interesting, thats why Batman Begins is good but is something boring. And thats why i like more Spider Man 2 than The Dark Knight. Because the story of Spider Man 2 makes all of us we care for about Peter Parker.

I like Spiderman 2 more than The Dark Knigt. The way that the character of Peter Parker is developed makes you feel that Spiderman can be anyone of us. He is just a teenager in the way to become man. He has normal problems like all of us. Beside that the acting is superb. Dr. Octopus is brillant villain. And the movie presents the reasons that make him to be a bad person. And no forget the impressive action sequences like the (Train Chase).

No I'm not riding on the bandwagon of 'hating' these movies due to the new reboot (Reboot, not remake -.-) but you do have to admit, as fun as these movies are, there are quite a few goofy moments. Still, this trilogy is enjoyable as always and I'm ready and pumped for the 2012 movie; It's not one or the other guys, it's okay to like both :)

Even with a predictable end (Something that Spidey also has), it had some good twists and dramatic moments along the movie, something that none of the 3 spider man movies have. I respect your opinion, but I still think Transformers is a better triology overall.

Sam Raimi's series imitated Tim Burton's Batman, and tone was a mess it tried to be dark and serious but it kept slapstick comedic corniness, it's doesn't fit together well, and the reboot Amazing Spider-Man is imitating Batman Begins and Dark Knight ;:/

@simplytyson 1. Spider-Man 3 didn't suck. it was the most profitable one of all of the movies. while it has it's share of problems, it's not TERRIBLE. the weakest of the three, sure, but I can think of atleast five superhero movies that turned out worse.

2. they're reebooting it because Spider-Man 4 was gonna be absolute shit. they still wouldn't have the Lizard, Venom is gone, no Carnage. instead, we get the Vulture and the Vultress (Felicia Hardy, played by Anne Hathaway). reboot>shit sequel
