yeah thats weird $200 for warranty i got my slim for £250 with a game and i bought street fighter 4 and got my 3 year warranty and it only took me up to £295

I do that too. At first I thought i was OCD about (not the first time i'm ocd about something) but i realized it it was better to do that from my 360 (RROD, scratched discs). I haven't used it in months.

why does everyone keep telling people that. it turns people away from the slim, they go buy a fat(for probably more $), and then find out it doesnt play ps2 games. only the old original ps3s can play ps2 games, and they are pretty hard to find and pretty expensive. slims a great deal. pretty much everyones got ps2 these days anyways.

Will I've been long time ps3 owner to me the slim is a joke. Cant play ps2 games only 2 usb ports and no card readers. I cant belive sony cut all this, So yes they are differnt. And dont start with the hard drive crap cause I have a 520 gig hard drive in my 60 gig model, And my ps3 never makes nosie so not sure what he's talking about.

if you run a 7200 RPM drive it can run a little too fast for the system and make noise, this can be helped by installing a 5400 rpm hardrive instead. Either way its not a HUGE DEAL. lol

PS3 slim i received mine 2day, when u see it out of the box it dosnt look cheap, what ive noticed from the old ps3 i had is that it the slim is SILENT! ! & its so nice too not have that gloss black finish showing up every fingerprint & polish swirl marks, when u pick it up u can feel the build quaity is there, im very happy with the slim, it is the best console right now, ive had the xbox 360, to me the graphics on ps3 are more detailed, vibrant colours etc.. XBOX IS A CHEAP MANZ PS3 BYATCH

Good video but the newest Fat PS3s dont get hot or make any noise either. I Have one and even around the vents the PS3 Fat doesnt get hot (mildly warm). Its the original 60GB PS3s that get hot and make noise.
