I was in the 2004 flood. It was september and we were at the house next to the ole smokey right next to the river. We had to evacuate from the house. I was amazed though when they let us stay at the be and breakfast house right next to the entrance. They treated us very nicely and the park was up and running 2 days after. Knoebels care so much about there customers! I love them.

Wow, they did the same thing to us when we were there at the 2006 flood. We were in the campground in one of the cabins, it was cabin 13.

Knoebels is a veteran of floods. It had a flood in 1955, 1972, 1975, 1996, 2004 and 2006. It was up and running 4 days later although the pool was not usable for until ten days after the flood.

Finally! Someone who knows about the history of knoebles floods! I was there over night while this place was flooding. We woke up and went across the street to the theme park to find it flooded, they wouldn't even let us across the bridge form the campground to the road to the park!
