  • im a begginer in kung fu but wold beat both your ass wat the hell that was fake bull shit you dont even know how to kick

  • @ninja39936 hahaha! Silence you pip-squeak! Keep in your hole like the mole you are. Otherwise as your SENIOR, i'll order you into Horse stance and beat you!!!

  • @WuLinGuan lol you think you know kung fu because you said horse stance then tell me why is it called a horse stance but you would probably look on the internet to find out as you dont have a sifu

  • Good spar

  • I hope that the next fight I get into is with someone who thinks this is full contact training id kill them

  • that's an awfully arrogant thing to say. why would you want to kill anyone your just having a friendly match with.

  • oh and i forgot the reason that traditional kungfu uses stances is not simply movement towards or away from an opponent. the legs being further apart gives you more stationary maneuverability also if you know what chi is internal force cultivation is more powerful in stances. also it lowers your body so that defending sneaky low attacks easier to defend such as tackles of a ufc fighter or thai boxing low roundhouse. the uses truly are limetless . when is a high stance better than a low stance?

  • but we learn several forms of kungfu all of which on their own are complete that means they have throws grappling tumbling striking kicking and other specialized skills like weopons fighting. if you want i will tell you how to use any kungfu pattern in existence to defend against any other attack and i will explain how :) kungfu is so profound you are lucky to not be caught up in silly mma. we spar with mma fighters it is shameful and comical. i meant only to comment before i apologize

  • i train very hard and i love chi kung i love chinese philosophy and i plan on devoting my life to further shaolin study. if your comfortable with what you do thats fine but i assure my kungfu is genuine and not based on forms without application. shaolin wahnam sparring methodology is also very profound and complex. if your ever in nc you may enjoy to sit in on one of my classes i feel you and your friend would be more than delightfully surprised. you see we dont mix styles

  • i spar with full contact but i also practice side high middle and low defense so i dont plan on getting hit very often lol i do watch films i like them you see thats why people make them but i also train very hard and i am more self critical than critical of anyone else but im also honest. this doesn't appear like traditional kungfu. i teach traditional shaolin kungfu. from the age of 6 i have been training. shaolin wahnam puts very little focus on forms ,so no forms dont make my kungfu

  • im not all knowing but traditional kungfu forms use low stances like ma bu gong bu and certain types of steps like unicorn stepping. also in the forms ideas are featured like advancing and retreating techniques and rising and falling techniques. why practice sets of movements and then not apply them to combat if you prefer to fight in high stances using the find an opening strike dodge retreat method maybe kickboxing would be a bit more cost effective. i mean no disrespect i am an instructor.

  • @yizhichanlohan Well I was going to put a response however I have seen the comments you have left on other peoples videos. Now I really do not mean any disrespect however, I think you maybe someone who watches films, practises forms and hasn't had anyone punch you with intension during a sparring match. I am more than comfortable with the kung fu I practice and in expressing styles as necessary when necessary.

But I will ask. What style R you an instructor of? And how long have you practiced?

  • @yizhichanlohan Now im not saying low stances can't be used but you have to understand why you are using them. If you use them so you can look like you do kung fu, that will be your business. If you are using them as movement to advance your opportunities to strike then good. But in a fight where there is only expression you are the one who must choose you path.

  • Pretty cool guys, sharp and quick kicks and punches that were well placed, ground game needs a little work, maybe you should take a few jujitsu or wrestling classes if you haven't already. Cool stuff.

  • Rubbish Kung Fu pretenders. Go to hell, motherfuckers.

  • Comment removed

  • @pravindharan The way to deal with people like you is very simple. When you're in London come to one of my classes and we'll spar. You shut your silly mouth. Go and post up another dance vid you clown

  • this is a cheap version of real i chi chun. . . terrible absoloutley terrible. look how far i chi chun has fallen

  • It's great to combine kung fu and sex.. i think sex also good for your health and help you to relax after a hard training... who is your master or teacher?? Is your master taught this way to make your opponent submit to you?? With the theory of make use of soft against hard... how do you feel when you are have sex on the grass... is this your 1st time fucking on open space instead on your small bed or tiny little alley way....

  • @awwinchan Have you ever participated in BJJ or Greco-Roman Wrestling? You should probably do so, if you haven't, before making a comment like that. That's about as asinine as saying boxing is like playing patty-cake and or Tae Kwon Do is like playing footsie. Just foolish man, simply just foolish.

  • I see... just now is a part 2 of your gay sex kung fu... now this is your 1st part... this video you have a longer foreplay than the 2nd part... i think your shao lin have based on indian ancient kamasutra 2.19look similar like a reverse cowgirl..2:27the rock and roll post.

  • good to see you guys up and outside training!

try working on footwork and punch combo's..

    thumbs up

  • thought it was pretty good till you went to the ground. just remember to "drop" the hip a little bit it will give you more spring in your step when you are in cat stance. and will help keep your groin blocked.

  • Rubbish pretending to be Kung Fu.

  • This is not "kung-fu", unfortunately most of what is called "Kung-fu" today is nothing more than kickboxing or karate. If your kung-fu becomes nothing more than kickboxing in a real fight, then it's not Kung-fu. Here are some videos that are closer to real Gung-fu play as it's traditionally called.

  • awesome well shows traing pays off

  • I saw some really good stuff there. I do agree that this is not "full contact" however there is a lot of good technique here. This is a good respectful workout and I enjoyed watching it. One comment I will make though that constantly touching your partners hand is not a good habit. It will make you easy to time and setup. Good workout though!!

  • It's good to see you're sparring with gear. What I think you guys need to do is to work on your footwork. I saw some step-sliding, but my teachers always tell me to keep moving when I spar. Also, I think you should work on your hip rotation to add more power to your strikes.

  • It depends on the focus of your style of fighting. It is good to keep moving but what happens when you have to stand your ground. You may face an opponent who can trace your movement, standing still and fighting takes more technique and confidence sometimes than moving. However I get your point.

  • Shaolin Kung Fu or kickboxing?

  • Shaolin Kung Fu

  • You lied. This is kickboxing. There's no "Kung Fu" moves and stances what so ever. With all respect, there are some REAL "Kung Fu" sparring videos on this website. Why don't you check them out for the REAL deal?

  • Ah and let me guess who you are. The guy sitting at home binging on martial arts footage but never actually studied one. When you find a video of kung-fu sparring let me know. I wont waste my time listening to people who expect it to look like some movie

  • Here is one that is much closer than what's shown here. Unfortunately almost all of what passes for "Kung-fu" today is nothing more kickboxing or karate, as this video shows. /watch?v=Ugtq5hmij7U

Also check out "Alan Lee 1985 Demo"

  • @WuLinGuan cool is this shaolin kung fu my bro? and is it good ? coz it looks cool and i wanna learn it. haahah thx man

  • this is not shaolin kung fu

  • If you fellows put up a sparring video that contained full-contact sparring, I'd be happy to add it to the index.

  • deppad

  • Some nice techniques there, but "full contact"? You guys couldn't have got too many bruises, did you? Not that I'm a very good fighter, but in my definition "touch" doesn't count as full contact.

  • you guys look like a bunch of pussys

  • they re sparring so that is why they re not hitting hard, they are training so shut up if you dont know anything about martial arts training

  • Yeah, couldn't agree more.

  • Exactly when push comes to shove it ends up looking like kick boxing. WHY because the rest of the complex shit dont work!

  • that was pretty weak. first of all, that was only light contact, not "full contact". and second, none of that is going to help you in a real fight or actual full contact tournament. i admit, i know little about kung fu, but i practice kickboxing and have done a fair bit of bjj. that ground work was poor, so many oppurtunities for triangle and armbars, and the stand up wouldn't last a minute against a decent kickboxer. not saying kung fu is bad, just dont think that was good.

  • Ofcourse you dont know much about kung-fu making such a wild statement. Stop speculating and get in a ring and make your point, ok! Maybe you should arrange something. By the way that 'Decent kickboxer' wouldnt happen to be you, would it? Read the other comment I made to another person and that would explain what this video is about.

  • You put it on youtube with the label "full contact." This is not a full contact video. There is nothing more to say.

  • Booo Hooo get over it and find something more interesting to talk about mate. PLEASE!

  • You should find something more interesting to do than pretend to do kung fu with your weak ass sparring.

  • @Pawnz0r

Agreed. This ain't Kung Fu. This is some boxing crap pretending to be Kung Fu. What a shame to this ancient profound art.

  • @Pawnz0r I'm a little late on the subject, but define "full-contact"? Thanks.

  • @Ronnock

All-out, full-force attacks, attempting to defeat the opponent. This is contrasted with Hard Contact, which is full-force attacks without attempting to defeat (incapacitate) the opponent.

  • @Pawnz0r But in sparring, define "full-contact". If they were going "all-out" it would defeat the purpose of training or practicing.

  • But this is not full contact. This is medium contact at BEST. I could say a bit about how well they fought, but as I don't know much about Kung Fu, I'll let people who actually know it evaluate whether their skills were good or not.

  • Full Contact Sparring is a term. Changing the definition to mean what you want it to mean is quite misleading.

  • This is not full contact. This is light contact.

    Full>Hard>Medium>light>none

That's the scale from hardest to lightest.

  • I called it Full Contact Sparring for the reason that we are practicing for full contact and working technique, not actually fighting but sparring. How we would in class. If we were fighting thats what i'd put.

We work a mix of levels light, medium and hard working up and thinking ahead before landing the intended blow.
