This is pretty nice. Is there a way to only do this distortion for natural objects? While it makes the terrain look nice, it makes the structures look a bit off.

You really think of MineCraft too realistically...

You should make a mod that makes it take hours to dig out that 1x1x1 meter of dirt. And make a MineCraft day actually 24 hours.

@Faybro Well, I would love a longer day and night.

But, really, a nuke just doesn't fit when we are the only ones here. Sure we can build fully steel carts and somehow smash tonnes of perfectly crafted steel bars together to form a perfect block, or we can also make a clock that tells you when it's day or night out of gold. But, somehow, those just fit with minecraft.

Now, I'm not saying that this game is realistic, but sometimes, a little realism in the most abstract games is kinda nice.

Personally, the only realistic thing about a game, should be its graphics. One should not make a game with realistic mechanics. There are exceptions, of course.
