This wasn't my plane; I was simply filming the students competing at the university I attend. (The University of Texas at Dallas).
To the best of my knowledge, several students used a similar plan design but didn't achieve such a long flight time. This plan consistently flew for 45+ seconds, and the only noticable difference between this plane and others was the balance of the aircraft. The pitch of the nose was as minimal as they could possibly make it (and still have the craft fly).
lol was this a regional flight? My plane design got 45 or so seconds at state, 50.3 at nationals (3 seconds away from top ten!!! but nooo i got 21st damn)
I've seen many gliders built with a similar structure, what was different about yours?
oh and, what did you use as a rig?

The actual flight was approx. 50 seconds, but my slow camera didn't start filming in time.
