@King7Ster thats because you dont know how to produce, when you open reason its in 24 bit mode but when you export and burn a cd it gets dithered down to 16 bit, a good producer knows how to eq, frequancy cut and boost, gate, mix a track in reason so that when exported it sounds amazing.

the other FX in the mastering combinator don't muddies the up the mix if used right. If your levels are to hot it will. If you push the compressor and the maximizer to hard you will lose all your dynamics which can end up in a muddy mix. Try not to have more then 4-6 db gain reduction on both the compressor and maximizer. And like you said bypass the master suite when mixing and try to get the mix sounding the best it can with out clipping, then enable the suite for the extra shine and loudness.
