I don't really like that one. When I was younger about ten years ago she was black and gold on the series. I saw her at Toys-R-us but my parents wouldn't get it for me. I was so mad lol.

In my opinion Blackarachnia Transmetal 2 is the best Blackarachnia figure, but animated blackarachina is pretty cool too.

I disagree with you about the spider form, I think she's one of the better figures and one of my personal faves.

Also few tips, if you want her head not to stick out, don't twist it during the transformation (the red plastic doesn't stike like the golden face) and for the mandebles (they can be the hell) first bring the black ones out and after that twist the purple ones so the go bit under. Small changes, better effect!

Also for stability, just bend the knees and put the feet bit forward!

Blackarachnia from Animated is great but she'll never beat the orignal. Venus Terzo had the best voice too :) sexy, poisonous, deadly, cunning etc...if u look carefully she kinda looks a bit of beast wars orignal, transmetal 2 and technorganic all in one. her purple chest in robot mode and her robot mode head are alot like transmetal 2 Blackarachnia :D

I got her today. I like both the modes. The spider mode is not that bad even if robot parts show. but lets not forget that it would be very difficult to make a perfect transformer

my favorite character from beast wars. so i had to buy it...i live in texas..bought it at walmart thursday...wonderful toy....but you forgot to mention that the GRAPPLING HOOK CAN FIT IN HER BACK FOR STORAGE. i wish her hands werent visable in the spider mode...head/face too! other than that...great blackarachnia toy

although i dont like the hands sticking out i like how she still semi resembles herself from beast machines. I like the fact that Animated pays respect to the previous generations of Transformers.

I'm not too crazy about spider mode either but I really dig her in robot mode. As a matter of fact I just bought her today, she's my first animated figure.

You forgot one part on her feet transformation. They actually pull forward a bit so she can easily stand.

oo..ic....anyway, i was planning on gettin her but after seeing the review i decided not to...due to her hands "dangling" out in vehicle mode (or spider mode)...its just too creepy for me,man...it reminds me of a certain japanese horror film...i dont hate Black Arachnia...but this figure scares the heck outta me...all because of the hands...
