I love this app i have my iPad jailbroken and i downloaded browser changer changing that to be my replacement for safari completely. I never use safari anymore just one thing that you could add, a download manager. I really like downloading stuff an my ipad because my computer wouldn't open a lot of sites. Then I open it in dropbox and it syncs. That is my only complaint about the app.
It would be nice if you showed us HOW TO GET SOMETHING like the oeuth Park video ONTO Skyfire. Not just teh fact that you did. Walk me through teh steps.I get to see all the things I don't care about expect what I NEED to care about mainly, watching video tutorials. This is uselss without it.

I absolutely hate the facebook/twitter etc buttons on the bottom of the browser. I absolutely hate them! Instead of being clever and over engineering to solve none existing problems how about just keeping it simple and making it as comparable to a desktop browser (like firefox) as possible?
To skyfiremobile: add real tabbed browsing and let me customize the browser. I don't need the black bar at the bottom... Maybe include gesture functions for preview page or tab an next page or tab... Just some ideas

And as for Flash, making it convert into HTLM5 (however they call it) is a brilliant move as solution for no Flash on Apple and mobile Flash's current issues. The hell will Flash games now. We have consoles, multi-media devices, portable consoles, tablets. Forget internet flash games anyway. X)
@WiiManElite Flash Games are awesome and most times free and just as good as most of the games you can buy on the App Store for iOS Devices so i want my flash games and if Flash was available for the iPad think about all the free flash content that could be made by developers. it would be awesome.

My favourote browser for the ipad is the Mercury app, i havent had a singlee problem and they update it frequently so i love it, and the only reason i would get this app is to watch flash videos
I have this app on my iPhone 4, I got it on release day. After the servers were updated I've had no problems using this app. I've recommended it to friends and everyone has enjoyed it. Now that it's out for the iPad things just got a little sweeter. I use my skyfire app daily to watch flash videos on 3G and wifi. For all other Internet surfing I use safari. I've just noticed it's a little slower loading than safari but I purchased it to watch flash videos and it works well.
how much will this cost. i was one of the 1st people who got skyfire for the iphone and it was well in nice terms really bad. didn't work videos would play for 2 seconds the it would buffer for 4 hours. so i just gave up. if this app is 99 cents i'll get it, but if it's 4.99 no way in hell i'm wasting my money on a shitty app.
@noobkirax if you were one of the first you would have known that the app was pulled because of skyfires servers overloading. now they seemed to fix it because i can watch movies on most flash movie websites with no problem.
@hoibierhoi the app store didn't pull the app, skyfire pulled the app because there servers was overloading. i'm running iOS 4.2.1 and i have the updated skyfire app and the video plays fro 2 seconds and still takes a long time to buffer. so why should i set there and let my battery die for a video that might or might not load?
@noobkirax first of all read my comment i never said apple pulled it...(in a way they did pull it after skyfire asking) secondly your doing it wrong i dont have any of the issues you have. only sometimes 1 out of 10 the video stops midway. plz keep in mind that the server running the skyfire service has to process milions of people playing video's. go bash apple for not putting flash on idevices but plz dont hate on skyfire.
I tried the iPhone version. It's really good but a bit slow when compared to safari. Unfortunately, it doesn't sync with your desktop bookmarks so the only thing I want in that browser is Xmarks support. Until then, I won't be using it.
@BoogsterSU2 Opera on iOS is shit to be made for iPad. In fact, they haven't updated that app for months and it's still terrible. What we like to see is Google's browser Chrome. Now that browser kicks ass. That browser alone helped me rid that trash IE on my PC forever. Safari is okay, but Google wins my vote on browsers.

Am I the only person who wants this solely for the ability to watch Flash content. I can't imagine using any of the social aspects. In fact I'll only use Skyfire when I want to watch as Flash video. I'm not a Facebook user but I love Twitter and that's why I have a dedicated app. I use Reeder for as my Google Reader client. I just don't get the point of the social features. Until Apple gives us the ability to change our default browser Skyfire, nor any other browser, won't be my default browser.
