Those are easier than falling down. If they don't have a metal ring at the halfway point to hold the cord they won't work correctly.

Yeah, the original early 70's design of klicky-klackers were banned because sometimes hard acrylic plastic shatters into people's eyes.

Then came along what I call klicky-klackers with training wheels, the design in the 90's where each klacker ball was suspended with dual outrigger legs. Cheater klackers, is what they were. Those ones sucked.

The ones Josie is playing with were the cool ones.

I still have a clear, sparkling blue pair from the early '70's. They were usually clear, hard acrylic and came in many colors. I think they quit making them back then because people claimed they were dangerous.
