the only two theme parks that are not similar to the one in Anahiem are Paris and Orlando. There's two in orlando and the vehicles are not alot like in anahiem. and the one in Paris is a looping coaster which is alot different

You are absolutely wrong. Walt designed the Disneyland one, not Disney World one. WDW made new blueprints for their Space Mountain. So yes it was built first but isn't the 'original'. Disneyland's is the original. It was supposed to be the main event of 1967 Tomorrowland renovation. Until Walt's death in 1966, WDW decided to make SM first.

Actually, getting rid of the over the shoulder restraints would probably do wonders for the ride. Just check out the Flight of Fear at Kings Dominion and Kings Island. It's also an indoor launched space themed coaster but it had its shoulder restraints replaced with lap bars leading to a much better ride. I am sure that could help the Paris ride as well. Also, I never said it wasn't a wonderful ride. Each Space Mountain has its pros and cons which make or break the experience for each rider.

Only the Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disneyland versions have soundtracks. The sound effects in this version of Tokyo's Space Mountain are sort of like a soundtrack, but not much. The sound on the second lift, however, reminds me of the old tractor beam noise. When it reopens in November from refurb, Space Mountain at Walt Disney World will probably still run without a soundtrack. My three cents.

I've ridden the original TDL space mountain many times and it was pretty tame compared to WDW. besides from getting a new look on the inside, the coaster ride was changed big time. very fast and pretty instense too, no longer for the faint of heart... awesome ride!
