Well to me I have no real big interest in the whole Nest saga to me. It is very interesting but I like the original story about Orochi. This is my option and I know theres people who disagree but to me is the strongest SNK boss character. Just like every time I mention his name, someone is goin to swear at me but hey that's my option so respect that pleasse.

The main reason to why I started playing the NESTS saga where Angel, Kula, and K'. I Just love their gameplay. The NESTS Saga wasn't bad, but I agree with you the it can NEVER best the Orochi Sage, to which the whole KoF story is about. Hope they bring him back, he was the best boss ever, seconded and Goenitz and Omega Rugal.

I like the original saga as well, I like NESTS Saga, it really had potential and it gave us some of the best gameplay for future KoF and some of the most unique characters and tough bosses (Im looking at you Igniz), but I really hate the Crimson Saga and how GOOD characters with potential (Geese,Rock,Mr.Big,Krauser,Tod­o) got overshadowed and negleted or worse (forgotten) at the not-as-good Maximum Impact.

We really should get back to the older days :(.

@WW3seeker SNK had no choice because of copyright. Anyway Nameless have a way better storyline than K9999. Nameless wants to revive Isolde back to her body. Guess who is a clone of Isolde? Kula! ^_^

They took the blood of Isolde and put it in a glove for nameless. As for the others they started make clones of it. This can make a good storyline for K' to fight Nameless in KOF XIII when Kula gets kidnap by Nameless. Nameless wants to revive his belove. Keep that in mind in the future KOF's games.

Many actually think KOF 94 is the first one. As for the game they should just make the next Fatal Fury. KOF is a mess.

I played studied KOF2001 yestreday and still couldn't find that part where K9999 defeats Kula... thats something you made urself i think!

There is no need for Nameless in KOF anymore, that character do not bring anything new or interesting in scenario and he doesn't seem too tough. He will never get as popular as Kula & K'

LOL! Wrong Story wise it goes like this Art of fighting, Art of Fighting 2, Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 1 & 2 than KOF 94. It's just SNK screw up the storyline. As for Art of Fighting mind you that it takes 40 years before Fatal Fury. The screw up happen in KOF 94. Ryo should be on his 50's. but is the same age as Terry and Kyo.

Ryo never won kof beating Geese, Terry did. It's like Street fighter Gouken is dead but now his alive in 4? Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting are the the beginning of KOF.

In Fatal Fury Wild Ambition Ryo is a hidden Fighter called Mr. Karate. He is very old in that one. But in KOF 94 he is the same age as Terry. Fatal Fury is the main story of what is going on. But again SNK keweps screwing it up. Fatal Fury Mark of the wolf is the future of KOF. Geese is dead. But in KOF 2003 & KOFXI he is alive? Plus KOFXI is near with Mark of the Wolf. After the gay ass Ash story. They should stick with the Mark of the Wolf story. Rock mysteries power joining Kain.

Anyway I like the old Storyline they had plan with the Dragon spirit saga for KOF 2004. But they had many courts to go through. They got Angel and many other characters. Couldn't get K9999. Since it's a copy of a Anime movie called Akira.

Anyway beat the game with Athena's them in KOF 2001. That was going to be the next saga. But it was remove and it went with a retarded story. With a gay ass Ash as the main character......

There is no such part where K9999 beats Kula, he tries to treaten her and then K' comes and spoils all fight. I think they fought 2v2 in the end, K&Kula vs K9999&Angel, at least thats what I read in official site.

About screwups: Nameless is even bigger screwup then K9999, I think they should have never created him. Nests saga is OVER. Plus Nameless is not very impressive. Not like Kyo/Iori/K/Kula/Ryo/Terry/Chiz­uru and some others. He is boring actually!

Outside of k999 Tetsuo, similarities between overal storyline and Akira are minimal, excluding the 'make clones of one original strong guy', which is nowhere near unique to Akira in the first place.

As for KoF, it's an evolving franchise. Gameplay changes, new characters introduced etc. Using just the same 20 or so characters with new sprites would be boring. You bring in new characters, and the ones that are LIKED, stay. They build a story after that, design and gameplay come first.
