The Reason it looks fake the way the ship looks in relation to the video - it looks superimposed or part of an animation. Honestly looks like a video of a sea/ocean and a boat has been put into the background and moved around a bit - could be wrong but just my opinion.

Also the Sea does look rough in the image - but not rough enough to throw an Oil tanker, one of the heaviest ships your gonna get in the middle of an ocean, up and down like a speed boat.

This is not fake, it's a sped up time elapsed series of photos, hence no sound. It's carrying liquid cargo, which gives it unpredictable characteristics in rough seas. The liquid will intensify all ship movements greatly in rough seas. Much different than a frigate or cruiser. Also when the bow dips, the props (if submerged) will push the bow under until buoyancy and upward inertia from the swells push it back up. It creates a domino effect. Think of a trampoline, or low rider car hopping.

@mojostevo never heard so much nonsense in my life, that is a dry cargo ship, it has hatches and deck cranes.

It would be suicidal to take a ship to sea with slack tanks of liquid, the free surface effect would cause huge stability problems, Which would more than likely cause it to capsize. I have seen ships pitching in a similar manner in rough weather, my only comment would be that the master should have reduced speed as the pounding would damage the structure of the ship.

@etsneroj I understand the film has been sped up, however having spent 11 years driving ships like this, the master should have reduced speed (hove too) as the bow is clearing the water and this can cause extensive damage to the structure of the ship. This will lead to metal fatigue and cracking of the hull reducing its life.
