Just strafe back many times, while fighting with more than 4 guards, and you'll have enough time to throw, before they reach you. Additionally they will stand in a line, so it will work.

@undercoverboss543 You poison a guard then kill then with an air assassination(go on a ledge or platform higher than them, lock on and press x to assassinate) If you haven't got the poison option yet you will later on.

I did it the old fashioned way and actually fought them in combat.

I went to Florence after finishing the game and sequence 12 (DLC) and, as the guards patrol in groups of three or four with no brutes and barely any of the guys with spears. I punched a guard, switched to my sword, then ran in the direction of a red dot on my mini-map. Foundsome more guards, killed a few, then repeated until i got the achievement.

This method was cool, it's just I tried it and it didn't work.

This method is probably the easiest. I tried to do it normally (without smoke bombs) but those big guys crush your defense like it was nothing. At least I also got the Sweeper one right here :D

I got this achievement while protecting the guy from assassination while in Florence or Firenze. It's in the beginning of the game and easy to restart if you mess up. It also keeps track of how many you've killed as it has a counter.

After I got my 9th kill i ran out of smoke bombs, and i didn't want to rely on killing one of the guards that were chasing me, so i ran up some building and ended up dodging arrows and assassinated an archer. Definitely the most satisfying achievement so far. xD
