  • There is a seventh grader at my school that jumps 40 feet.. He jumps far!

  • practice pawing the ground not smashing feet down. all your speed is being lost in the track.

  • not a terrible technique. youve got good acceleration, perhaps think about extending your run up to increase speed. good step phase, perhaps not the best hop tho, which can be attributed to arm drive, and the jump phase is like the other guy said 'dont be afraid to get dirty'. but all in all, considering all those things its a respectable distance, so...

  • useyour speed to carry you

you gotta keep your balance and dont jus go thru tha motions think about it while your doing it and imagine cones at the end of the last phase, itll get your knees up higher which'll get u a foot more guarenteed. watch videos of professional jumpers and practice their phases. you seem young so you got plenty of time to work on it.

get your speed right phases right and youll be a 48 foot jumper within 6 months

    i promise

  • nice jump. You could work on your landing. Dont be affriad of getting dirty lol.

  • thanks

  • not bad dude, make sure you finish your first phase..btw i got 43 7 today so im pumped

  • anyone know how i can work on my legs so i can break 43 cause i can't pass it lol i go to an american high school base so i just need some tips or a vid i could watch thanks.

  • Make sure you life your knees. and get flexible. being flebile allows you to strech in the air for extra distance. every inch counts.

  • dats my brother!!!! whoooooooo

  • work on that landing it needs the most attention in my opinion. you could easily be a 44 jumper with a decent landing

  • 44? try 45. and youre off balance on you first phase so square up your shoulders.

  • O YEAH, WELL IM ONLY 4 AND I CAN FLY

IM GONNA GROW TO BE A SUPER HERO

I ALSO BENCH PRESS 12000 lbs

    SO STOP BEIN NOOBS

  • today i won the regionals with a PB 9.70m and soon it's the provincials!!!!

  • And how old are you?

  • im in seventh grade and i got 9.26m at my last track meet next week is the regionals :D i won first there last year

  • how old are you if you are in seventh grade?

  • i won first at my school but at the finals sheesh those people are soooooo tall. and well i need work. lol

  • im in The 8th grade and i jump a 41'8

  • ok..seriously..im sick of all these kids who brag because there better and there younger...so if you really are in eith grade and you jump 41'8..good for you..i'll see you at nationals next year..but please...you dont have to shit on other peoples jumps cause your better.

  • bitch you can shut the fuck up and u wont see me at nationals cuz i dont do summer track at the moment im a bball player and o yea i cna dunk to

  • ok...im talking about spring track..and if you can dunk and your only jumping 41..then you suck at life...o btw..ive been dunking sense seventh grade

  • i was dunkin last year to and i only started track this year so get off ma dick

  • ok..yeah..i kinda flipped out..my bad

  • thanks for the advice!

  • yeah third phase needs work. you're bending back too much in the air, which causes a stretch reflex that will whip your body forward into over-rotation. keep your body perpendicular to the ground, and at the very last moment when you extend your legs, that's when you lean forward.

  • yea dude, u can easilly get another like foot and a half, two feet easily if u get full extension from ur legs, but the other two steps were pretty flawless

  • stretch out that 3rd phase of you can going as high as you can but other than that it was very good
