The Seneca is a "nice" airplane. But anyone that thinks it is a better option is clueless. Actually, the Baron has better single engine climb rates than a Seneca! That's at airports below 4,800'. And if you are part of the minority based at an airport higher than that and just have to have TC, wait for the G58TC!

  • Even with a non TC G58, you'll be around 20 kts faster at typical altitudes (i.e. not FL230 wearing O2). And have a stronger / better built airplane with much higher gear, flap, and max structrual speeds. Higher wing loading so better in turbulence. Much better range! Much better cabin visibility with doors on the same side. Longer cabin with taller seats (although narrower). The list goes on and on. Get a Baron!

Then again, I am a little biased!

  • What's the single engine surface ceiling?

  • i love that buzz at the end! reminds me of a jet :)

  • awesome plane :)

  • What is the tail number??? cool paint, cool plane, good engine start, what more can I say beside, great! :)?

  • SINGLE-ENGINE? Are you crazy? The BARON is a twin

  • nice i like the paint on that one

  • Very nice. Fun but nerve racking to practice.

  • Wow............
